I was using the upper oven at 350, I finished cooking, turned off the oven then the lower oven controls started beeping with a f1 error. ???? We were not using the lower oven.

Same issue as others.  We all of a sudden started getting the F1 error when the oven is not in use.  The beeping is constant.  We are now forced to turn off the circuit breaker when not using the oven.  Please help.

My oven did the same thing, but we hadn't used our oven in about a week when all of a sudden it started beeping.

I was doing the dishes and noticed the oven fan going... checked and it was on, there was nothing on the panel to indicate it was on. Pressed on cancel and the F1 error came on. We couldn't get it to go off, we had to turn the circuit off????????????????

I HAVE TO DISCONNECT THE OVEN, TURN OFF POWER FROM BREAKER BOX. WHEN POWER IS RESTORED ; AFTER ABOUT 1-2 MINS IT WILL START BEEPING AND SHOWING A f-1 ERROR MSG.

I have the same problem; I suspect some water got into the circuitry behind the touch panel; our oven is mounted underneath a countertop, and water occasionally drips down.

I have a similar problem with my RSD30 model floor standing model. I replaced the relay board at a cost a cost of $200 for the part and the problem still exits. I have not seen a solution for this yet so I may have to call for a service call.

I have a dacor convention plus wall oven that did not seem to shut off, the repairguy said I need a new control board. Is he correct and approx. what should it cost, and where can I get a good dealfrom a reliable source?

  • Anonymous Mar 16, 2014

The oven is a Dacor Pure Convection Wall Oven. Oven door will not open all the way, it binds at 75 degrees opening. Also the door is not tight against the oven when in the closed position

According to the manual, this is an element relay circuit failure. Call the tech.

  • SenorSushi Jun 15, 2008

Oh, here are the other codes:

F0 Touch pad stuck in depressed position

    F1 Element relay circuit failure

F2 Oven temp exceeded the clean runaway temp (self clean) -or- runaway temp (cooking modes)

F3 Short circuit in oven temp sensor

F4 Open circuit in oven temp sensor

    No F5

F6 Failure in the EEPROM check comparison (only time of day and timer will operate)

F7 Failure of Self-Clean auto door latch circuit

F8 Failure of the door latch motor. Occurs when the motor runs for two minutes without the door locking Self-Clean mode.

What does a C76 or C77 error code mean on a Dacor wall oven?

Page 9-48 in technical manual excerpts at the link below:

It says to call for service (by a technician). (I am only reading it from the document - I am not a technician.)

It says to replace glass/touchpad assembly.
It says wrong or unrecognized diode configuration.

What does a beeping sound with F1 symbol mean?

Error F1 means that your Dacor Oven indicates element relay circuit failure. To resolve this issue the control board should be replaced as it has gone bad.

Good luck.

We have a dacor double oven that is not running and keeps giving us error message of F1.. Neither of the ovens will work.. Any idea what is wrong and how to fix it?

Hello & Welcome to FixYa

Error code F1 is displayed due to electronic oven control failure and the only way to solve this problem is by replacing the control board which is bad. Please get back to me if you have any other questions.

Dacor oven beeps and shows F1 code

-F1- Alarm “System Watchdog Circuit”
The system will detect a failure in the internal watchdog element relay circuits and will activate a
cancel feature. F1 will be displayed in the time digits and will beep until the cancel button or another
function is selected. An F1 failure could be detected in cook or time of day mode. With an F1 failure
the ERC is picking up a command to supply heat without receiving an input from the membrane. The
watch dog circuit is designed to prevent this.
If the beep continues after pressing cancel check the main control (ERC)

Dacor cps130 wall oven f1 error

hi The range timer is usually located in the control panel on top of the range. If you suspect the timer is faulty, don't try to fix it yourself. Remove it and take it to a professional service person for testing. Here's how to remove the timer:

Step 1: Remove the back service panel to the control panel and release the spring clips that hold it in position, or remove the retaining screws.

Step 2: Push the timer forward to release it.

Step 3: Remove the electrical lead wires from the timer housing. If, when disassembling the timer, you notice that the electrical wire terminals look burned, remove these leads and buff the leads and the terminal points with fine steel wool. Burned and/or dirty terminals can cause the timer to malfunction, but a good cleaning can solve this problem.

Step 4: Replace the old timer or install a new one of the same size and type, if this is necessary. Connect the new timer the same way the old one was connected.

PCS 130 Keypad

Dacor probably won't cover anything. F1 is either the touch pad or ERC (clock). If it stops beeping when the touch pad is uplugged from the ERC then the touch pad is the problem if not it is the ERC. Call Dacor Customer service to get a price on the parts and to voice your displeasure.

Dacor error codes

HI. the F-1 code is a System Watchdog Circuit failure code.

Press "Cancel", if beeping continues after 30 seconds, replace the main control board (also called clock or ERC).

Concerning the F-5 code. This is an oven temp sensor failure code. have it replaced asap. ((Check the wiring leading to and from the control and sensor for cracks and fouled structure. if the wiring is bad, replace the harness as well)),

My Dacor wont heat, broil or convection after self cleaning. No heat but everything else works The bake, broil, and convection elements on my Dacor CPS130 electric wall oven will not heat.  The oven has...

like another person stated-from the front behind the door, take off the 6 screws and the cover by the latch. there is an "oven hi temp limit switch" It is crome with 2 heavy black wires connected to it. On the back side of this is a small red button which will reset the limit switch. I had the same issue (everything worked except the any of the heating elements) and quickly resolved.
