I have attached a link with a HOW TO reset a kenwood radio code. i have never tried this on any of the KVT units, but its worth a shot.

I have a KVT715 ,i shut off my vehicle at low volume only to restart my vehicle minutes later and my system is blaring and i have no control of turning it down or off,tried to reset only 2 get no sound or any control

if its a kenwood thin you can use any kenwood remot and push 55222277 this shold reset it..

All of the Compatible Kenwood Units will have Bluetooth Printed on the Face in Small Letters. If yours Does not, Go to Crutchfield.com and they will have the Connectors that you need for this to be done. Please Rate My Response! Thanks!

I have a kenwood KVT-715 and it will not ejector ply cd's or DVD's I tried the reset button did not work.
sometimes you need to disconnect power to the radio completely for a few minutes for the microprocessor to completely reset itself. if that doesn't work, you have a problem with the cd mech itself.

Can't get any audio out of cd or dvd is my kenwood 715..
you need to have it on CD-DVD when playing. If you have it on video it show the video but you won't have any sound. Push the SRC button in the bottom left corner to change it from video to CD-DVD. Thats what I have to do to mine anyways. Hope it helps
