I HAVE THE BRAIN FOR THE KVT715DVD$300

According to this site, http://www.pacparts.com/library/model.cfm?mfg=Kenwood&model_id=KVT715DVD&action=list_part&back=0 , the data (brain to monitor) cable for the KVT-715DVD has the part number of 880H07-3078-72 . This is a discontinued part . There are a few EBay auctions that may still sell the part. There are no vendors that I trust that have the data cable. I wish that I had better news for you. If you can, try checking your wire connections. If they check out fine, try checking your fuses and wiring for power.

have you tried using the master reset for the device. at this point we want to have the issue isolated by removing the settings that's currently forwarded in your AVIC.

the master reset was not clearly illustrated in the manual, and pioneer said that those kinds of reset must go through them over the phone even if a device is out of warranty.

dude you need find the memory wire which is either a yellow or red wire that is connected directly to the battery supply if its not connected then thats your problem, look up the manual or google the wiring harness colour codes to be definate that you have the right wire
