Poor frothing Hello, We have a Franke Flair coffee machine at two of our outlets and we are always having problems with one of them. The problem is always the same in that the cappuccino never really froths properly. We clean all the normal components, tubes, teat/air nozzle (even replace when necessary), the soft milk feeder tubes etc. In the past we would get it OK for a while but then we would get flat coffee/ cappuccino ie no froth. The machine is nearly 3 years old. The other machine runs ok all the time and is 2 & 1/2 years old. Is there other components that we may need to change? I look forward to your help. Lance

You need to check (or replace) the air-intake nozzle which is located inside the coffee outlet. You will sure loose the good froth if that part is not clean or replaced. There should be proper amount of air input to produced the proper froth.

No milk and steam dispensing from Franke Flair coffee machine

I am a Franke technician. After and possibly during the descale, because probably you haven'nt done it in a long time, steam was able to escape through the fittings as the limescale damaged the silicone rings beforehand. The steam damaged the klixxons or the thermoblock itself. You will need one of us unfortunately....

Keep receiving missing coffee outlet message

If you remove the coffee outlet, you will see a little tab sticking out of it which inserts into the machine just above all the outlet pipes. this "tab" locates onto a micro switch. After a period of time the outlet can become misshaped(not noticeably ). if you squeeze the outlet gently it will temporarily fix it. the outlet will need to be replaced eventually and or the outlet holder.

My franke flair coffee machine will not power up

the two main reasons for this are the on off switch located on the back of the machine is switched off. the other is the flap to the grinders is not correctly fitted. other than this an exporative visit by an engineer may be required. there are two mains fuses situated by the cable inlet behind the rear panel.

DESCALING The Saphira has an integrated descaling program. The procedure takes about 60 minutes. Once started, the descaling procedure may not be stopped. • When acid-containing descalers are used, immediately remove any splashes or drops on sensitive surfaces, particularly from natural stone and wood surfaces. Also, take the appropriate safety precautions. • Turn off the Saphira by pressing the "ON/OFF" button. • Press the button "Descale" until an acoustic signal is heard. • Display: EMPTY DRIP TRAY (Fig.1) • Display: INSERT AGENT IN TANK • Display: PRESS DECALCIFYING Dissolve 2 DESCALING tablets completely in 2.5 cups of water in a vessel and pour the mixture into the empty water tank. Place a sufficiently large container under the steam tube and the coffee delivery outlet. • Press the Descale button • Display: UNIT DECALCIFYING • Display: PLEASE WAIT • An acoustic signal is heard. • Display: EMPTY DRIP TRAY (Fig.1) • Display: FILL WATER TANK • Display: PRESS DECALCIFYING • Press the Descale button • Display: UNIT DECALCIFYING • Display: PLEASE WAIT • An acoustic signal is heard. • Display: EMPTY DRIP TRAY • Display: CLEAN CONTACTS

Hi
I have just bought a Franke Flair coffee machine second hand. It looks like new and the seller said it was in good working order - however it does not have the grinder blocker and I think we need one. I wouldn't mind also getting the once over from an expert and then maybe some kind of ongoing contact should we have problems with it. What are your rates?

Franke coffee system, always same error message ''fill water tank''

What you would have to do is take the side panel off to get at the solenoid. It is probably sticking closed and not letting the water fill into the boiler.
