Curve with white screen with hourglass and red light on

Since last night this white loading screen is on my phone with a flipping hourglass and with the red indicator light on and off. I've charged my phone and nothing..was told by ATT my phone was exposed to water!

If the flipping hourglass stays for longer than 2 min our Blackberry may just need a firmware restore. Here's a guide on how to restore the blackberry firmware, the website is at : Restore Blackberry to factory settings.Download the Blackberry Desktop manager and run the application loader. Make sure you check to delete old applications in advanced tab. Carefully all you datat will be wiped.

dont panic .i think your battery is fully drain.it will not charge whatever you are doing so you need to charge it in a desktop charger..unplugged your battery and put the desktop charger and wait until it was full charge..

There are several online stores that sell replacement screens and some even supply the tiny screwdriver necessary to open the phone. Just search blackberry replacement screens. You may be lucky and find a youtube video showing you how to do the job

The BlackBerry has the feature on auto-start. When you insert the Battery, the device will automatically boot-up. It'll be showing an hour glass while loading the settings. But if it is longing for more than 10 minutes, there might be some error in the OS. It's better to contact a near-by authorised Service Center.

Blackberry Curve won't turn on, red light with lit screen


just follow these steps to fix it


You need to reflash the OS on the phone you should take the battery out first then connect it via the usb cable to the laptop/pc you are using then open the blackberry desktop manager,click on the apploader, then install the OS.

pls not that when u click on the apploader the pin should be PIN:UNKNOWN you make need to do this like 4x before the pc sees the pin:unknown but it will work once it see the pin:unknown you can re-insert the battery and continue with reflashing the phone

Your operating system might be corrupted you would need to reinstall it by connecting it to a computer running desktop manager and has downloaded the right operating system and installed that on the computer aswell then everything should fix itself once you have installed the new operating system on there.
