SOURCE: dried water droplets on inside of lens

The camera lens will have to come completely apart, and all the pieces be cleaned. This is not something you can do yourself at home. Because there is water in the lens, there is the risk that the humidity will cause corrision of some of the pieces and electronics inside of the lens unit.

You an try leaving the camera in a dry warm place that is not more than about 100 deg F for a few days to see if the water will dry out. But, I am sure that there will be water stains inside on the lens surfaces.

This happened to me on the first round of use. I replaced the battery and it worked fine. I guess the battery that came with the unit was not very good

If the unit gets hot (like in the trunk of a car), the LCD display will go out. Keep it in the house and it should get better when it cools.

If it is 2 years or less from the date of purchase.....send a copy of the POP (proof of purchase) or call them......! It should be under warranty. This is the real deal!!!

rate if you can!!

SOURCE: Bushnell Tour V2 2nd Distance Digit Missing

It seems that Bushnell in the UK refuse to offer a repair service to any of their units outside of their 24 month warranty.

My rangefinder fell in a lake and is now dead and has water droplets on the lens. Can it be repaired or dried out?

Not 100% sure but remove battery, dry as much as possible with paper towels, then leave in a warm place for a few days and hope

My bushnell tour v2 range finder is stuck on 1888 yards divided by 18 equals 888metres what do I do to fix this

I have a Bushnell Tour V2 that has worked very well for over 8 years and it just started doing the same thing with the frozen screen and 1888 yards. Since I just replaced the battery that I bought at a Pro Shop about 6 months ago I thought the battery was fine. I looked at the battery and did not recognize the brand so I went out and bought a new Copper Top Duracell and BANG it is working again just like new.

I can't get the bushnell to work even though the battery is brand new.

The Bushnell Tour V2 is notorious for suddenly stopping operating. Normally, if I slap the sides it starts working again. This has happened many times. However, two days ago it quit working again and I have slapped the heck out of it and it still doesn't work. I have checked the batteries and they are great. Try slapping. If someone out there knows something else that will help me, please let me know. Slapping no longer helps in my case.

Incorrect distance or Calabrated wrong

Sounds like the unit is reading in meters instead of yards....Hold down the mode button on the side for about 5 seconds. It should switch modes.

Just a question

no i have found the actual flag is pretty accurate as long as its not black- the reflectors increase accuracy over distance

Just a question............my understanding is that a Bushnell V2 Rangefinder does not require reflectors on the pins.........is that correct?

not required- in does increase measuring distance past 300 but w pinseeker and most approach shots from 250 in -plain flag is plenty
