I don't think, due to charging problem the solution is to change the motherboard.For charging problem there are several tricks to repair.The cost for changing the motherboard will as similar as buying a new phone with the same model.So, my comment is to visit another mobile repairing shop.If there is a loose in the charging interface it can solve by changing the changing socket or you can see another solution from this Nokia E7 Charging Problem.Good luck

Hello I am on my third E7 within 12 months, due to the device not charging. I think I have found a fix, well it is currently charging as I type this so maybe it will work for you as well. The 2nd E7 died when I let the battery completely run down, plugged it in over night, in the morning powered up and it turned straight off again. Plugged it in and I got the blinking/flashing charging light for about a minute then it would turn off. I phoned up Vodafone and they offered to send me a new one without questions, so I assume this is a well known fault...the only problem I had was that I had not backed it up in a couple of weeks and needed to get the data off. When the new one arrived I thought I could swap the batteries over (once fully charged) and then sync over bluetooth...there are a couple of very good tutorials on YouTube for replacing the battery. Once I had taken the device apart I thought i would try leaving the battery out of the unit for 10 minutes or so and then try plugging the charger back in...please be very careful if doing this with the phone in pieces....and all of a sudden the nokia logo appeared on the screen and I have a solid charging light!! So I assume all is charging as it should I might even be able to do the sync over the cable... Got to be worth a shot as sending it off to Nokia Care takes ages and I run my business through this phone, so not having it for any lenght of time is not an option, also they do a hard reset as standard so data will be lost guaranteed! No but you shouldn't worry about it. It doesn't damage the battery and it'll stop charging when full.
