SOURCE: BELT PLACMENT ON TROY BUILT TILLER MODEL

I am assuming your belt broke and you cannot find the replacement.
I had to go to an old timer that owns his independent business and he was able to find a much better belt than the one that came on the tiller. The Belt # is 1916657 and it is 25.5 inches long and 1/2 inches wide. It also has a kevelar core that will stand up to the constant gearing up and down.

Lowes was NO HELP AT ALL!!!!

Hope this at leasst get;s you in the right direction

SOURCE: troy built weed eater won't feed line

Check the size of the line,(OD), make sure you are using the correct size, sometimes cheap line will be problematic, also, you said you are re-stringing it, try a new batch of string, the old string inside the hub can get chaffed and will stick to itself...

SOURCE: I just replaced the drive

The bronco is a variable speed mower from what I remember. There is a belt that goes from the crankshaft to a variable speed pulley and another belt from the variable to the transmission. If your 1st belt is too long it will never get up to speed. Do you have to push the pedal down further now than before to get it to move. ? If so your main belt is too long.

The clutch return spring attaches at point G and F. Attachment point F holds to springs.

Front attachment point "G" (shaft hook plate)

My Troy-built Bronco riding mower gets gas to the carb, but there doesn't appear to be any getting to the spark plug. Any suggestions?

there is a solenoid on the bottom of the carb you need to see if your getting power to the connector if you have power the solenoid is stuck if not there is a safety switch on the clutch/brake pedal that goes bad

I just replaced the drive belt on my Troy built auto transmission Bronco 42" riding mower, and now it goes a lot slower. The belt seems to be routed correctly

Changing Drive belt On Troy Built Tiller

You have to remove the engine (4 bolts, no big problem), then remove the bolt in the center of the pulleys, then remove the pulleys. Slip the belt(s) (2 if you have the Super Bronco model) onto the pulleys, re-attach the pulleys with the bolt, re-mount the engine, and you're home free.
