Communication system is a Sena 20S EVO that is connected to the motorcycle via Bluetooth. Can hear others transmitting. When pressing the PTT switch the TX light comes on - everything is quite and others cannot hear me transmitting.
You check your radio with other radio very near. If radio is hearing your transmission then it mean that your Radio Power Module not working if very near radio not listening you then your preamplifier and Power amplifier is not working, it mean your Radio Transmitter faulty, only Receiver is working, you consult with any Radio Service shop. One other thing if you have software also check Tx/Rx frequency it must be same for simplex operation.
SOURCE: my galaxy 959 cb radio wil not put out any transmit
Hi,
Based on your post of no transmit, a couple of possibilities:
1. defective microphone or cord or PTT switch (the red TX light does not come on when pressed);
2. TX light comes on but no output, defective finals and/or drivers. These are the transistors screwed to the chassis of the radio very near the antenna terminal;
3. defective regulator IC that provides the TX B+;
5. insufficient amperage from you power supply;
6. too high SWR.
Hope this be of initial help/idea. Pls post back how things turned up or should you need additional information.
Good luck and kind regards.
Thank you for using FixYa.
SOURCE: Have Cobra 29 LTD CB
Sounds like the PLL circuit....... no channel synthesizer will kill the transmit and receive...... bad crystal or IC could be at fault or if someone has attempted to add more channels could also be cause.

Try a hand mic with the set, there may be a short within the radio.If not your problem is with the audio amp in the radio itself.Repair should be about $15.00.
