Pull the license plate cover off. the tail light harness is on the left side. Honda sells a pigtail that connects to it.

do not use wd40. There is electric contact cleaner. This is also in a spray pressure can. Try that. You might just be ready for a new switch also. You can try Walmart for a good price. google it for price check.

Did you replace the battery or charge it back to capacity?

If your battery is not at full charge or isn't supplying the correct amps to the electrical system, every time you key your CB it will drop the voltage and other electrical components will stop working - or not work properly.

Make sure that your battery is fully charged and the electrolytes are at the proper levels.

If you put a new battery in your Gold Wing, did you buy the correct battery? A cheaper battery will most like cause problems with the electrical system.
