SOURCE: JVC head unit problem

Do you have a "RESET" button on your stereo? Check your owner's manual to find it. I have a JVC unit in my car and the reset button is a small hole behind the detachable face. Take the end of a pencil or a pen and insert it in the tiny hole and hold for a few seconds. This should reset the stereo so you can get the CD out. Hope this helps...

SOURCE: jvc kd lx111 deck wont eject cd

I just had this problem today and when I attempted to eject the CD it would give me an error message that stated (ERR 32). Apparently this means that there is something blocking the movement of the screen, a little manipulation should help the issue. Another variable could be the Eject lock feature, essentially a "child lock" for your disc. When this lock is activated it prevents the CD in the deck to be ejected. You can change this by holding down the blue source button and the eject button simultaneously for about 2 or 3 seconds. A message should appear saying "No Eject" and one that repeatedly flashes "Eject on" These two things seemed to help me alot when I had this issue. If those things don't work I would recommend calling JVC, much to my suprise they were actually really helpful. Their number is 1-800-252-5722.

SOURCE: cd won t eject from 2006 Ford Focus mp3 player Get

HI, either the deck assembly is jammed or, the load motor has failed. In this case, you will need to disassemble the entire set in order to retrieve this CD.

The actual loading deck(the part where the CD is located), is surrounded by a metal housing. the gear assembly is probably locked, due to this jam or failed load motor. This will also require a set of precision tools as well. if you find this a bit overwhelming, i suggest taking this unit to a local automotive audio shop. they can dissemble it and, retrieve the CD for a small price.

I have a jvc am/fm cd player kds-30 it has no eject button anywhere and i can not figure out how to eject the cd

The eject button is just above the JVC logo on the display panel.
When you press eject and if it displays "NO EJECT", then it is locked. Press and hold CD and Power (ATT) for more than two seconds.

How do i eject a cd from the JVC KD G510 car stereo. A CD is already in there but i can't figure out how to get it out and put a new one in

A malfunctioning stereo may least allow feature buttons to perform extractions of CDs. Depending on how the stereo was installed, the car would have to be powered on to attain stereo functionalities. Second, CDs have to be inserted with the readable media side facing the appropriate lenses to achieve results. A wrong insertion of the CD into stereo compartment may require forceful extraction. Observe the type of stereo to ascertain CD extraction also known as reset buttons. Usually a tiny area, the reset button allows inserting an object that forces the car stereo to eject stuck disks. Every mean to eject stereo disk have to be performed while the car is turned on to utilize the source of power. An unsuccessful attempt to dislodge CDs in stereo compartments would require auto electrician's consultation. An unsuccessful dislodge attempt usually requires acquiring a new stereo in replacement of the malfunction.

The stereo works fine but i cannot eject the cd's

I just had the same problem with the same model. Disc five was saying no disc and would not play any other discs. I opened the radio and found the the CD tray was missing a piece for disc five. You have to put the disc tray back into the holder to fix it. Make sure it locks in place and you should be able to get the rest to work.

Jvc kd-sx770 car stereo--radio works, but cd player doesn't

Hello beeswing70,

The player is recognizing that a CD has been inserted but is not able to read it.

Sometimes the lens assembly becomes contaminated and obscures the laser. I'd try using a commercial "lens cleaning CD" two or three times and then try a CD again. These lens cleaning CD's are widely available. If cleaning does not help, the player need professional service.

Hope this helps.

Stuck disc in JVC CD player

It wasn't a car cd player, but a component for a stereo.  I took off the case and shook the player until the disc dropped out.  We plan to replace the player, so no further help is needed.  Thank you for getting back to me so quickly.

CD Player

I'm currently having the same problem. Take the face plate off. Use a pin to reset the stereo. It'll probably stop working again, but at least you'll be able to get your cd out and take it somewhere to have the stereo fixed or replace. (STAY AWAY FROM JVC!)
