It is no computer its dedicates streaming media appliance.
called Streamium (aka Internet radio device)
you must be in Europe posting to USA on an object we can't buy.
I guess you skipped the story about it failing 100% and now attempting to recover it? is that it,.
would not new batteries be first? not other acts?
try removing batteries and run on DC power pack (AC) first?
AC power only run....just like we do in dead laptops.
it is 8 years old first sold 2011
there may be batteries inside, we look very carefully for them.
even a tiny coin cell battery to keep the clock working.
the only large batteries are in the remote control.
but inside there may be a coin cell.
what are the full symptoms, first.?????????????
Hi.
Didn't realise this was a US site. The device runs purely on AC power with no batteries, I have cracked it open before and didn't notice a button cell but then again I wasn't looking for one, just a quick examination before writing it off the previous time it recovery looped. It has it's own OS which it normally boots into when power is applied but instead is now just going straight to recovery mode. I left it un powered for about 20 hours since yesterday but I'm not getting my hopes up yet. When I get access to my programmer again I will pull the nand and try to read in the data then try it on a new nand if it's a qfp or dip package
it has a firmware ROM inside that runs the software (firmware) code.
The flash memory has 100+ year data retention.
good luck finding a backup if that if lost.
only Philips will have.
the comment I made is, if the clock inside can not keep time, then the a battery is dead.
otherwise the silly thing needs, internet connections to sync up with internet time.
only you know if before it was busted if time held correctly with then line AC cord pulled.
SEES?
step one in electronics is.
do the factory reset, (hold buttons, and AC power applied is used on most things)
2: step2 is power, make sure the DC power supplies on board, work correctly or no computer or processor or digital chips can function as designed.
power must be at spec. and no excessive ripple. (scope it) and many times old devices from 2005 to 2008 era have those nasty china knockoff CAPS that dry out or leak, or crack or rupture. that is first. not ROM code. IMO,
So I got it working again properly. There was some crud on 2 of the RAM chip pins, I cleaned and reflowed the chip with flux and my hot air station
wow what a mess that is, and super rare failure.
glade to hear it is an each fix for you.
I wonder where crud came from.
must be spilled coffee or cola, drinks.
no PC will work like that.

Make sure you have media player 11
If you can, the best test is to try your player with another PC, to see if you still have the problem. This localises whether the problem is with the PC (most likely the USB) or the player. See the link below (search on "connection problems") for a lot more troubleshooting on this.
Download recovery tool off creative's website.
go to my computer > click on hardware tab >
click on device manager button > in the is next screen on the bottom should have>>universal serial bus controllers
(write these down just in case it cant find them)
right click on them and uninstall
reboot let windows reinstall them
Also told Microsoft hotfix causes this problem try uninstalling the last hotfix
If that doesn't fix it try the USB cable

Change your fuel filter, it may have gone it's life time and is getting to dirty to let fuel flow properly. Your fuel pump to may be getting weak, if the fuel filter is dirty the pump works harder and heats up and could be over heating the fuel pump relay too. The fuel pump relay i believe is in the glove box behind a panel that say relay, there should be (3) in there and the middle one is the fuel pump's. switch then around after you change the fuel filter and if you get a chance, check your fuel pressure at the shredder valve. Good luck and hope this help's if there is a Auto Zone around you, you can ask to use the fuel pressure gauge to see what fuel pressure you have and they'll have the step by step instructions on how to do it and takes about 5 min to do and will have the fuel filter and step by step to replace that too. Keep me posted, be glad to help.

Hi, Obviously you need to roll the time 12 hours ahead. If the watch doesn't receive the Atomic signal properly at first, go to page three of your manual, and try doing it manually following the detailed procedures there.
If you don't have the manual, get it here:
http://world.casio.com/wat/download/en/manual/
Take the four-digit (3070) module number from the back of the watch, enter it, and download a PDF of your watch setting-instructions/manual.
I hope this helps you. Thanks, Bill
