Where can I get a replacement bulb for Hitachi Ultravision 55 television.

Blue color has shifted. two months ago it had shifted slightly. Now it has shifted more. All three bulbs are working. Please suggest a solution.

the problem is most likely a defective light engine, it is a very commen problem with these tvs. hitachi is not very forthcoming with information or help unless your still under warrenty, i have talked with a few people about this and have found a lawyer starting a class action suit, if interested here is a segment of another conversation with all the info to get you started. " let other Hitachi TV owners know about the Class Action Lawsuit against Hitachi regarding the defective optical light engine. They need to call the Law Firm in Dallas Texas, HORP & B, that you mentioned is handling the case and talk to Victor @ 1-877-308-7900. They are taking documentation and cases regarding this suit and people that feel like they have been treated unfairly wherein Hitachi denied sending them a new optical light engine @ n/c need to call and state their case. Try this:

Symptom: All Front LED indicators are flashing in sequence: Power-->Temp-->Lamp-->Power......continuously
Cause: Replace Lamp . This symptom may happen all the time or it may be intermittent. It is normal if it occurrs from time to time, See OG under TV Front Indicators explanation notes.

Hitachi has had problems with their light engines. Very expensive. Contact Hitachi as they may give you consideration even if this is out of warranty.

You have convergence problem. Either bad connections on ics, ics are bad or voltages to convergence circuit are missing. There are no bulbs in this set. 3 picture tubes,red,green and blue produce a picture than when alighned(converged) correctly on top of each other gives you a color picture.When not you get the effect you are describing. Frst you can try the magic focus in the menu.
