The sun canopy on the Quinny Dreami is unlocked by grey buttons on either side at the hinge point (where the sun canopy joins the body of the Dreami) both buttons should be pressed and the sun canopy raised or lowered - both buttons then released locks it into position.
If it has been forced the mechanism will be broken and the lock will not function, resulting in the sun canopy not staying in place. The Dreami will require inspection / repair by Quinny engineers.

Sounds like the motor also holds up the top.
can you try to use something loke a broom stick thick piece of wood to hold up the canopy top till you get a chance to get a new motor.
You would prop up the top with a piece of wood right in the same area as the framing.
Tie a piece of string or bungee cord to hold the stick in place,to ensure the top dosent come down on you.
You might need to cut the stick to leanth as well as using more than one piece of wood.
Gool luck,Gary
I doubt that can be found as a part but plastic can be welded google to find a local plastic welder. If the plastic is black the repair will be almost invisible,
If this is for the Graco Snugride (I have the Windsor model from the Quattro Travel System), this will work:
1. Push the Graco canopy to one side, exposing the plastic support bars that hold the canopy in place.
2. The center of the support is where the canopy comes apart. Using both hands, pull the canopy support bar apart (as if you were playing tug-of-war). It's best to grab the curved ends and pull HARD (and point it away to the side so that you don't hit your face).
3. Once the support bars are apart, remove the old Graco canopy and slip on the new/freshly washed canopy.
4. Secure the support bars by snapping them shut, and then slide the canopy into place.
the radio has had an internal breakdown, possibly a transmitter or receiver failure. The only thing to do would be to replace or repair the unit. How old is it, as it may be under Motorola warranty if its less than a year. If it's not, you could contact Motorola support, and find out if they offer "flat rate" repair.....I know they do this for all of their 2 way radios and pagers, and the cost for repair is usually around 1/4 of new pricing. If you do get in touch with Motorola support, and have the unit's serial number handy, they will be able to tell you if its still under warranty. 1 888-605-2552 is the support number for Motorola canopy. They would be able to tell you if Flat rate repairs are available, and where to send the unit.
