Are any of the indicators shown in the manual displayed?
Can you provide any more information using the Comment menu in FIXYA?
I think your copier exposer is not working properly or copy board is dirty. Clean all surface in optical mirror .
SOURCE: error code
Hi, H4 is a heater error. Try resetting it by the following; Enter #, interupt, Clear, interupt, display goes dead, enter 14 then print. That will clear the error code, however if you have a problem with the heater it will return. It is probably the thermal fuse has tripped, which is resetable by removing the fuser unit

L4-03 is a lock of the fusing motor. It's likely you need to have the fuser rebuilt. You can try resetting the error by turning off the main power switch (located behind the front door under a little plastic cover) and back on. It's likely the error will come back. There's a cleaning screen on the lower fuser roller which gets gummed up with toner and sticks to the lower fuser roller causing it to seize and the motor not to be able to turn causing the L4-03.
