SOURCE: temp

This reading is a default setting and it looks like the ambient temp sensor is either faulty or missing, it should be located in the front lower plastic panels under the front bumper. hope this is of some help and if the sensor is missing/damaged you will not be able to reset it

SOURCE: temperature control sensor?

Sounds like a loose connection -38 is probably the open circuit position. Not sure where the sensor would be though.

since you did not supply the entire model number, don't know if this is a cooler or a freezer. if a freezer, -10 is good. if a cooler, not good. could be multiple reasons for low pressure if a cooler. you should also consider the high side pressure too as this can also help indicate a short charge. more info is needed to continue.

Check to see if your hear your evaporator fan is running in your freezer, then check behind the refrigerator and see if your condensor fan is running. Make sure your condensor coils are clean under your fridge. Your symptoms are leaning towards dirty condensor coils. Good luck!

Have you checked the evaporator fan(freezer fan), This problem is hard to detect because the fan spins but not fast enough to circulate the chilled air thru the freezer and refrigerator.
