Hi wehave a simpson ezset 7.5 top loader .the error e 17 keeps coming up ,how do we fix this

did you try installing newest drivers from intel/gigabyte website? what you described looks to me as a overheating problem. try running the game with case open. are you running on the integrated GMA graphics or PCI-E graphics card(like geforce, radeon)?

More likely than not it is your control regulator gone out. This is where your rotary knob is.

sounds like you havent undone the transit bolts- theyre on the back of the machine, 2,3 4 maybe five quite large obvious bolts, around the drum but on the back. they are to keep the drum steady while in transit to stop the machine bouncing around in the van - you are unlikely to have damaged it - Undo these bolts - they should be mentioned in the manual-

We had the same problem. Electrolux repairman came last week and replaced the lid switch parts with a new designed part. Told me the original part was subject to recall because of a problem with the design, was getting wet and stopping the maching operating correctly, and causing shocks. Ring Electrolux, should be covered under the two year warranty (but because the fault was there when the machine was bought, shouldn't matter even if warranty period had expired)
