Tray has paper, printer says to load paper
SOURCE: Problems getting printer to respond after clearing paper jam
hi try this http://support.dell.com/support/edocs/systems/3100cn/en/UG/section19.html your printer error is mentioned and a solution offered good luck
SOURCE: Printer won't pull paper into printer
Check the "Feed Switch" button on the control panel (below the ON/OFF button) to be sure the green light at the back of the picture is lit. If not, try pushing the button and then printing again. It worked for me and it was so simple!

I had the same problem and to fix it there was a blue tray I had to pull out (the tray for the photopaper). Once it was pulled out so it was about flush with grey part beside it, the printer worked again. (The photopaper tray is just above where you put the regular paper.)
SOURCE: Supply rec paper tray - what does this mean when the tray is loaded?
OK, I was having a similar problem: Tray full of paper and tray adjusted properly.
Whatever I tried, the printer kept saying load paper.
I went to print menu>properties button (windows XP this is next to the printer name)>paper source tab.
It tuned out that the paper source had been changed from cassette to multi-purpose tray.
Change it back to cassette and you should be golden.
