How to Change a Battery in a Taylor Lithium Scale

  1. Flip your Taylor scale face-down on a flat surface. Remove the screws holding the battery compartment cover in place.
  2. Pull the old batteries out of the battery compartment. Insert the two new batteries with the "+" facing up.
  3. Put the battery compartment cover and screw in place.

Turn it over - take out battery and check with multimeter to ensure it is still workable - let sit for 10 to 15 seconds - replace battery - set it on level surface and step on and back off. Step on it again and it should now work.

Sounds like no power. Check for correct battery replacement; may need to verify that your replacement batteyr is still good.

Battery Replacement

1. Use 3 volt CR2032 lithium battery (as installed).

2. Open the battery compartment on the bottom of the scale.

3. Remove the old battery from the compartment.

4. Place the new battery with the "+" sign up into the battery compartment.

5. Replace the battery compartment cover.

For taylor scale model 7075. How do I fix error code 6aee


I know what is this error. This is BATTery low. New battery last only 2 month, I've seen a problem with the kick feature to power-on the scale, those pressure buttons might get stuck and leak current and kill the battery.

it is simply zebra no-connection problem, kindly open lcd display unit, after opening you see a small rubber fixed between lcd and printed circuit board (pcb),  reinstall and fit all screws related with lcd and pcb. turn on the scale. you can found ok.
