I find no way to disable the CID record feature.
If you wish to neither see nor record CID, contact your service provide and unsubscribe to the CID service.
A copy of the user manual is available at;

To delete all the recorded Caller ID numbers with the handset do the following;
When the phone is in standby, press ID (on the 4-way navigation function key), then press MENU/SELECT, then select Delete All. When the phone asks you to confirm, select Yes.

While you have the phone handset off the base and turned on, try pushing the top or bottom part of the big round button in the top / middle part of the handset's keypad to turn the volume up or down respectively.

See page 5 and 10 of the manual for detailed instructions on how to increase the volume of the ringer and speaker.
Basically it operates as follows:
Your handset has a four-way function key.
Press the top of the key to increase the ringer volume (while the phone is in standby) or speaker volume (while you are on a call).
Press the bottom of the key to decrease the ringer volume (while the phone is in standby) or speaker volume (while you are on a call).
I hope that was helpful to you, good luck and take care.

First of all, thank you very much for choosing FIXYA today for your online technical support needs.
Since you did not specify exactly which model of Uniden phone you have, hopefully some generic instructions will help you out. Here is a direct link to the ONLINE USER'S MANUAL for a basic Uniden Dect 6.0 Cordless Expandable phone (model D1660):
http://www.uniden.com/content/ebiz/uniden/resources/ownersmanuals/D1660om.pdf
To view the Owner's Manual with Operating Instructions just use your mouse to click on the link, which is the underlined and blue highlighted text just above.
This will open a new web browser page automatically for you and allow you to view the information at the website indicated and the contents of the Owner's Manual.
You may need ADOBE READER installed on your computer to read PDF documents, although many computers already have this type of utility pre-installed.
You can download this free at WWW.ADOBE.COM if necessary.
Click on the DOWNLOAD ADOBE READER button on right side of the ADOBE home page when you get there, then follow the onscreen instructions to install the software on your computer.
See page 8 of the manual for detailed instructions on how to access and view the Caller ID list as well as delete entries from that list.
Normally, once you access the Caller ID list, then scroll through it and view all the NEW caller entries, these calls are then automatically transfered to the OLD Calls list. NEW CID entries are just those calls you have received since the last time you manuallly reviewed the Caller ID list.
I truly hope that was helpful to you.
Good luck and take care.
Joe.

Follow the instructions on page 36 of the manual.
SOURCE: How do I change the message greeting on my uniden
Since you declined to specify the model of your Uniden DECT 6.0 system I can only suggest that you select it from the list beginning here to download a copy of the manual.
SOURCE: I have a Uniden Dect
Had the same problem which is easily solved by unplugging the base station, waiting for 30 seconds or so, and plugging back in again. CID and phone book then magically reappear (though I don't know for how long)
