My viking dishwasher vud141 washes fine but will not eject the last wash water before it starts the dry cycle. Filters are clean Whats up?

Check for bent drain hose, make sure it’s not push in to far down in to drain trap, if it’s hooked up to garbage disposal check for blockage at that connection and what u want to do is see how good of the stream comes out from the end of drain hose just get big enough backer and fill unit by start cycle then drain unit by canceling cycle will put unit into drain mode
This will give you some ideas we’re to look for problem

1st 2 lights are blinking "pots&pans, heavy". Into the cleaning cycle it shuts down. I have cleaned all filters and with fingers cleaned in the pump inlet as best I can.Drain hoses are fine.

There are two other methods to clean the drain line
1. Get a wet and dry vacuum cleaner and use it on the drain hose at the point it connects to the plumbing. This will draw out any obstructions,
2. Get a hose and back flush the drain line instead of vacuuming it out.

Vcff136ss freezer drain hose

look at the bottom in the back for a small (usually black) rubber hose. this wil be the drain and the only way to clean them that I am aware if is to blow up through it ( makes amess inside the freezer or fridge but does work. some models drain the freezer into a funnel like thing on the back wall inside the fridge and then to outside.

Hi

Thanks for using FixYa. To start with check the drain hose for any clogs and try to clean the hose and the drain pump filter. If the issue is still not resolved then the electronic control has gone bad and should be replaced. However, before replacing the control you can try to take it apart and blow some air with the help of hair dryer on the control so that if there is any moisture, this blows it off. Please accept the solution if the issue is resolved or post a comment for further assistance.

Thanks

Water is sitting in the bottom of our Viking Pro DW. Removed stainer. Still water. Any suggestions?

Is the drain hose clogged or kinked? Or the knockout for your disposer inlet not knocked out?

Viking dishwaser turns on, but I can tell that it is not cycling.

Check the following to address this issue.

1. Air gap / Drain hoses
If there is an air gap (located in the sink, near the faucet), check to see if it is clogged. Unscrew the top cap and see if there is anything blocking inside. Note: If there is no air gap installed, the dishwasher might not drain properly.

If the drain hose is clogged, the dishwasher would not drain. If there is an air gap installed, it is very common that a hose going from the air gap into the garbage disposer is clogged. Remove and clean the hose. Make sure to reattach the hose before starting the dishwasher.

Note: If you recently had a garbage disposer installed, it is common to overlook removing the drain plug.

2. Broken belt
Some dishwasher models use a belt to drive the pump. Replace the belt if found broken.

Note: Sometimes the belt would just come off the pump. Even though it might not be broken, it is recommended that you replace the belt, because it is probably too stretched out.

3. Pump
Some models have two impellers inside the pump - one, wash impeller, takes care of the wash cycles, the other, drain impeller, drains the water out. If the drain impeller is broken (broken blades, shaft), the dishwasher would not drain. Replace any broken pump components.

4. Drain solenoid
Some models (for example most GE dishwashers) use a drain solenoid to drain water out. Sometimes the solenoid gets stuck, preventing the water from draining out. Try to free up the solenoid. If unsuccessful, you might have to replace the pump assembly.

5. Motor
If the motor is stuck, it is sometimes possible to free it up by manually spinning the motor.

Replace the motor if defective.

6. Timer
Replace if defective (note: uncommon problem).

Cycle just continues with the pot symbol blinking

disconnect the hose and run it into a bucket, is it pumping freely?.

did you check the trap for a blockage?

You may have a leak in the pump housing area below the unit, this would cause the drain pump to run continually.

Viking dish washer won't drain

1) is the hose clear/ not kinked or pinched
2) is it hooked up to a garbage disposal..( was the plug removed)
3) can you hear something in the drain pump?

if all is good the let me know there may be more I can help with..

Eaton viking dishwasher

it may not be the pump.if it leaks when you run a wash cycle then the pump seal may be bad but if it only leaks when you drain it,it seems that its a drain hose/piping connection.
