The problem is occurring when you make a copy or a print, like a status page?
If it is a copy then you have to clean all the mirrors in the scanner unit.
If it is a print (no scanner intervention) then check the developer unit and the the transfer roller, mostly the first one.

The toner has probably settled in one or more cartridges. Just give them a gentle shake and re-install.
