Hello, Art -

Apparently, the Unertl Optical Co. was in existence from 1934-2008.

Read the comments on this discussion forum:
https://www.rimfirecentral.com/forums/showthread.php?t=540582
Sandy22 mentions the Yahoo Group for Unertl scopes:
https://groups.yahoo.com/neo/groups/Unertl/info?guccounter=1

Perhaps you can find a date and magnification power for your serial number scope through that discussion group. Also, members of the Yahoo Group may be able to direct you to information on the value of your scope.

Best wishes.

Here is a thread on what to look for as a starter. In reality it is worth what someone will pay for it.

I have a scope Galileo 1000mm focal can you buya camera 1in, and mount it in the eye piece. also a star tracker.? This thing is a real pos also need a gear box servo drive.

It's not worth buying all those accessories for that 80mm scope. They would cost several times MORE than what you paid for it.
