How do I fix Google Hangouts? Says no connection can't connect to server.

It opens on my tablet. I have cleared all caches. I have ran my AVG anti virus with nothing coming up. I have uninstalled and reinstalled 4 times. I have checked for app and phone updates and nothing. Turned phone off to reboot multiple times. Checked and rebooted my internet connections. Nothing is working.

I presume that you can get to all other websites using a web browser (like Internet Explorer or Chrome). Try this:

- RIGHT Click START. Now left click RUN
- In the box that pops up, type CMD.EXE and click OK.
- A black 'DOS-like' box pops up.
- In the box, type IPCONFIG /FLUSHDNS then hit enter.
- Close the black box by clicking the X in the top right corner.
- Reboot your computer and then try Hangouts. Let me know if still have problems.

SOURCE: Have internet connection but browser won't open

try pinging google.com from the problem pc.

  1. Go to START
  2. Go to RUN
  3. Type in CMD [hit enter]
  4. IN the dos window, type : ping google.com
  5. hit enter.
If your pc can reach google, it will ping back 4 successes

I would install and run spybot from spybot.com. That is a spy-ware checker program and is free.

Post back with results.

If you have recently had a virus or malware attack, it has changed your proxy settings. Go to options>under the hood>change Proxy settings>LAN Settings and make sure of the following:
Automatically detect settings is CHECKED
Use a Proxy server for your LAN is UNCHECKED
If this doesn't fix it then the registry might have been affected, too. Perform a repair on your operating system or restore. I would recommend a factory restore after you have saved all important data on an external drive or flash.

My Google services frame work notification keeps appearing, can't use my phone. How can I remove it?

Solution 1 - Update Google Play Services to the latest version. You can download from here. You may be getting an error because you have a very outdated version or the one you have is having a conflict/bug with the current Android version in your phone.
Solution 2 - Clear the Google Play Services cache. The Google Play Services app in your phone acts like a framework for all the Google and Google Play apps installed in your phone. You can try cleaning up its cache and see if that would fix the issue. This worked with one of our team members! Read these quick and easy steps :
Go to Settings > Apps.
Scroll to All apps and then scroll down to "Google Play Services" app.
Open the app details and tap on the "Force stop" button.
Then, tap on the "Clear cache" button.
Solution 3 - Clear the Google Services Framework cache. The Google Services Framework system app on your Android device stores information and helps your phone sync with Google servers - and keeps your Google Play Services up and running. This could be one of the reasons why you are not able to connect to Google servers using the app and keep getting the error message. Read these quick and easy steps :
Go to Settings > Apps.
Scroll to All apps and then scroll down to "Google Services Framework" app.
Open the app details and tap on the "Force stop" button.
Then, tap on the "Clear cache" button.
Solution 4 - Check your Internet connection. May be your WiFi network is blocking any of the IP addresses that Google use. You can also try switching the WiFi on or off on your phone - same with mobile data.
Solution 5 - This goes without saying, but may be a simple reboot of your Android phone/tablet could fix the problem.
Solution 6 - I hate to say this, but in the end, you might just want to install a custom ROM that is stable with no bugs.
Hope this helps

My tagital t9x won't let me sign into a google account, it just keeps saying unable to connect to Google servers. How do i fix this?

The Google servers are at specific IP addresses. If the address cache (the place where your system stores the numeric (i.e. ip) addresses for the things you name, like "google.com", has an entry for Google that is wrong you will get "server not found" because it will try the cached address before asking for one from the Internet (via DNS). If you can clear the local address cache (via "clear Internet cache" if it has it) you might be able to force the system to reset the address to Google and find the Google servers.

Just a thought.

When I try to download an App, I get an ERROR that says: Error retrieving information from server. [RPC-S-5:AEC-0]. How can I get this to download apps?

Fixing RPC:S-5:AEC-0 Google Play Store Error

The Google Play / Android Market error retrieving information from server RPC:S-5:AEC-0 error message can be a bit of a pain, the RPC:S-5:AEC-0 error just randomly appeared on my tablet after it upgraded to a newer version of Android. However this is how i managed to fix the RPC:S-5:AEC-0 error with ease.
  1. Load the Settings app, click apps, then select "All"
  2. Next in the all apps view find the "Google Play Store" and click on it
  3. Now click "Clear Cache" (Not Data), then Force Stop.
  4. Next in the same app list find "Google Service Framework"
  5. Click clear data (Not Cache), then Force Stop
  6. Switch off the phone or tablet and turn it back on
  7. You should be able to download and update apps from the Google Play store once more.

Enjoy no more RPC:S-5:AEC-0 errors when downloading or updating apps.
Or Simply Go to settings/app.manager/all
Delete data + cache :
Google Play Store
Google Play-services
Google Services Framework
Hangouts
Market-feedback agent (important)
Then delete google-account(data/system/user/0/ fine the accounts.db file and cut and paste it somewhere else)
Restart the phone and then re-add google-account( paste your accounts.db file earlier to it's original location).
p/s~Your device need to be rooted to remove/delete google account without a factory reset.

enjoy and have a good day :)

I have the IRULU 7" tablet. Everytime I go to download a game it has me accept etc. then as it starts to download it says ERROR: trouble communicating with server. But my connection streaghth is EXCELLENT...

If your application has stalled at "Starting download," please use the following troubleshooting steps to help complete your download:
  • Restart your device, then try downloading the app again.
  • Confirm there is connectivity to either wireless or cellular networks on your device, and contact your service provider if you aren't connected.
  • Try your download(s) using both wireless and cellular network connections, and ensure firewalls aren't blocking access to ports required for Google Play (TCP and UDP 5228).
  • Make sure you've cleared the cache and data of both the Google Play store app and the download manager. Here's how:
    1. Visit Settings > Apps on your device
    2. View All apps
    3. Select the Google Play store app, and then tap Clear data and Clear cache.
    4. Then, select Download manager and tap Clear data and Clear cache.

I cant watch video

This issue might be due to following four problems :
  • YouTube Server is down
  • Problem Browser
  • Slow Internet Connection
  • Due to third party Anti-Virus or Firewall

To fix this problem you need to optimize browser:
  • Delete History
  • Clear Cache
  • Delete Cookies
  • Remove tool-bars
  • Update flash player
Stop Anti-virus and firewall before opening internet radio.
Restart computer and Router.

If problem still occurs then use Internet Optimizer tool. I would suggest to use a system utility tool like Intel Software Partner Reginout. It will not only optimize PC but will also optimize internet by running its Internet Optimizer feature. WebRepOverall ratingThis site has no rating(not enough votes)

Oops! Google Chrome could not connect to www.facebook.com, but in other site i can connect, only face book i can't connect, what's the prob??

It might be due to problem in facebook server. Sometimes the server for little time that's why website can't be opened.
Also try to optimize browser by clearing history, empty cache, remove unwanted tool-bars and Add-ons.
Also update flash player and java.
For an instant fix i would suggest to use PC optimizer having feature of Internet Optimizer like Intel Software partner Reginout.

First of all, AVG isn't the best anti virus software, it's free but there's even better for free out there. Delete AVG and go download Avast Free Edition, it's better than AVG and is also free. I also bet that AVG isn't what's really causing your problems, try switching whatever browser you are using to Firefox but before you do that try deleting your cookies and clearing your cache.
