This video tutorial will show you, how to uninstall AVG 8 from your computer.
There are demonstrated three options how to uninstall AVG software from the computer.

1. Use the LATEST AVG instllation package downloaded from the AVG website.
2. From the "Start" menu.
3. Use the "Add / Remove programs" option.
Note: The whole procedure in this video tutorial is demonstrated on AVG 8.0 program version, however the same procedure is also applicable with AVG 8.5 program version.

The simplest solution is to use a product from Malwarebytes anti-malware (My personal favorite) the free version does not do real time protection but it will clean up your problem. You may need to run a full scan 2-3 times till you get a clean result.
then install a commercial AV product, like McAfee Total Protection.

I am not sure if I understand what you want to know, because the licence number of Avira actually has nothing to do with logging on a saved file. Open the Avira configuration.There you will find how long your licence is still valid .In case it has expired you would have gotten a message from Avira, a pop up, asking you if your want to prolong/buy a licence.

It sounds like you need an update for your Windows before you can install AVG. You should be able to download this from MS.

I think you have to have Internet Explorer 7 or better. I installed 8 and that seems to be the right bulb.

First of all, AVG isn't the best anti virus software, it's free but there's even better for free out there. Delete AVG and go download Avast Free Edition, it's better than AVG and is also free. I also bet that AVG isn't what's really causing your problems, try switching whatever browser you are using to Firefox but before you do that try deleting your cookies and clearing your cache.
