Hi, remove the rudder. Then undo the three grub screws on the engine coupling. They are at 90 degrees to the shaft and lock the shaft into the coupling. There will also be a small collar rear of the coupling that you need to take off the shaft. Then slide the shaft out. All this has to be done with the back of the boat raised clear of the trailer. Check if rudder reference unit is installed as before ,it seems that the pilot sense that the rudder is turning the wrong way. check when giving +10 command the
rudder turns to increase the heading,if yes, it could be the wiring of the rudder reference unit or it was installed the wrong way after service on the rudder.
Is rudder position indicating correctly?

Try using a product called Marine-tex it can be purchased @ most outdoor goods stores. It is not that expensive and is a 2 part compound that is very easy to use and does not dry so fast you can't work with it. I have used it to patch aluminum boat hulls and fiberglass PWC's. Give it a try..

CHECK RUDDER REFERENCE UNIT FOR CONTINUITY(IT IS A POTMETER) CHECK IF MOTOR IS RUNNING IN THE CORRECT DIRECTION ,CHECK CONNECTION OF RUDDER REF UNIT.
