The SKW200 has a 'line in' rca plug. Unfortunately the TX8522 receiver does not have a dedicated 'subwoofer' line out so you will be feeding all frequencies to the sub. (Not ideal, but usable.) Use one of the 'tape out' plugs on your receiver for a line level output. Use a RCA splitter to go from 2 male to 1 female RCA. (Radio Shack etc.) Connect to the sub with a male to male RCA audio cable. The sub does not have a crossover control, so it will try to reproduce all tones. Adjust the level control for your sound taste....
The hook up depends on what the receiver's speaker configuration is : 5.1, 7.1 , 2.1 , and what the sound bar configuration is. You will need to post the receiver make and model number and the sound bar make and model number in order to have your question answered.
If your surround sound receiver unit has rca audio inputs(red/white), you can hook up any brand of DVD player that has rca outputs. You would hook the yellow output from DVD player to yellow input on TV. Hook red/white output from DVD player to red/white input on surround receiver. Hope this helps.
You need to be a bit clearer on the exact nature of the issue. Please include if the unit was working and suddenly stopped producing sound (ie - speaker output fuse blew) or if you relocated the unit, and after hooking it back up, you aren't getting any sound (ie - not hooked up right) or if the volume knob isn't changing the readout for the volume level (logic or knob broken) - and also include the make and model of WHAT the volume knob is attached to (ie - Yamaha receiver model X)
please connect as the following-----1-mp3 out-----to cd in in your receiver. 2-receiver rec out (tape put)----to equalizer in. 3-equalizer out----to tape in in receiver.
Thats because if you look in the owner's manual, it declares the fact that it will only broadcast sound from hdmi to monitor not speakers. For sound out of speakers need to connect additional audio cable.
