My lorex security system quit working so I unplugged the system for 30 seconds now it works but my iPhone says can not reach server what can I do

It most likely is the camera.

all eco series the reset code i have 2 codes one will work (723889) or (519070) i have use the (519070) on many Lorex eco2 DVRS'S and it work no problem i have many codes for many lorex DVR'S the codes are set by the manufacture date and model number of the DVR

1ST ARE CAMERAS WIRELESS ? IF SO SOMETHING COULD COME ON INTERMITTANTLY AND BLOCK SIGNAL FROM GETTING TO BASE UNIT, IF THIS IS SO ONLY A SPECTRUM ANALIZER WILL BE ABLE TO TELL YOU WHAT IT IS .
SECOND IF NOT WIRELESS CK YOUR RECORD SETTINGS IN SETUP YOU MIGHT BE OVER TASKING HD DRIVE , VIDEO CAPTURE ONCE PER SECOND IS NORMAL ANY FASTER IS NOT NEEDED UNIT WON'T HOLD VIDEO IF HD IS BUSY WRITING SO IT DROPS SECONDS OFF FINAL RECORD

U over loaded the system right there,4 to 8 tries 4 again might work again,if have u not burn out the expanded ports already.

When you are at business, you are probably accessing the network locally.

When you reach home, you are accessing it via internet.

What you need to do is to set up the router to direct the incoming requests to the dvr ip address. It is called creating a virtual server.

You may want to subscribe to a DDNS service if your ip keeps changing. Businesses normally have a static ip but not if you have a normal dsl connection.

hi krol, shut down the system , unplug it for at least for 30 seconds , unplug the hard drive from the main board , (if you have two or more need to be unpluged all ) reconnect them and start it the system , it should work, it worked for me.good luck. t.saeed
