BAD News.
Usually the USB Port is a part of the Mother Board on a PC and the replacement of the Mother Board is the only solution.
You can find them on the internet at Ebay and other locations. BUT it is very involved to replace.
If you have one good USB Port, Get an adapter that will allow multiple inputs.

Not sure I understand this hub either. Looks like only one port is a USB 2.0 port, but here is a snippet from the manual......
This iConcepts USB Hub provides the electronic interface between USB devices and the host, It allows up to five USB devices or Hubs to connect an upstream USB Hub or Host port.
Features • One USB 2.0 port • 4 Port USB 1.1 and support high speed (480 mbps) and 4 port full speed (12 mbps) operations. • The USB 2.0 port can operate both USB 2.0 & 1.1 Devices • USB 2.0 port supports self powered mode and bus - powered mode, indicated by a powered LED . • Over current detection and protection
Manual is provided here: http://www.sakar.com/p-1124.aspx?categoryid=182
Yes. While the speed from the USB device to the USB hub may be faster (USB 2.0 protocol, rather than the slower USB 1.1 protocol), your hub is still connected to a USB 1.1 port on your computer.
Yes you can connect more wired devices to it but you need to get another networking device like a HUB or SWITCH which will be connected to one of the port of the router then go get the hub or switch with the number of port that you will needing like a 24 port hub or switch. Then once you have that HUB or SWITCH you can simply connect that to one of the port of the router and connect you wired devices to that HUB or SWITCH.
Every plug and play devices are compatible with Vista.Vista have a huge range of drivers under its hood.So there is no doubt on that belkin usb 2.0 lighted travel hub is compatable with windows vista
