The wireless icon on the
Orange signal signifies some bug in the router
You can reset the router using a paper clip and then check if it turns Green/Blue.
Also you can try to upgrade the firmware on your router
Even then if wifi light is orange, its a hardware failure

To connect to your wireless router, the router needsits wireless settings to be configured with the SSID, encryption key etc., alsothe wireless cards in all the laptops/computers needs to be configured withthese router's wireless settings. Then the laptops/desktop computers cancommunicate with your wireless router and access the Internet via the DSL or cable modem.

Most router wont act as a DHCP client (Get an IP address) on their own.
You need to go into the Belkin setup and set it to an IP address in the range of your other router.
For example:
If your PC is getting (connected to the same network) an IP address of 192.168.0.3 IP and a Default Gateway address of 192.168.0.1 you can set the Belkin with any adderss between 192.168.0.10 & 192.168.0.254. Changing the last octet (set of numbers after the 3rd period) to the desired address.

If you stick a pin in the reset button it will take it back to the factory settings. Just like when you first bought it. Then you can reconfigure your network.

You might as well, since it isn't working now. As it stands, you've got nothing to lose.

No wireless light, and no wireless signal detected
there is a possibilty that wirelss feature on ur router is not turned on as the wireless light is off.
U can open the gui(router page) of ur router by entering the default gateway on the browser address bar. First of all u would need to connect ur comp using the cable to ur router so that it could be connected to internet.
Go to command prompt and type ipconfig and press enter and it will give u the ip and default gateway of ur router.
U can type the same default gateway in the address bar of internet exploere and hit enter and it shud bring the router page.
Once u r on the router page u can check the wireless settings on to that and can alter them.

Hi I need to connect more wired devices than the 4
Yes you can connect more wired devices to it but you need to get another networking device like a HUB or SWITCH which will be connected to one of the port of the router then go get the hub or switch with the number of port that you will needing like a 24 port hub or switch.
Then once you have that HUB or SWITCH you can simply connect that to one of the port of the router and connect you wired devices to that HUB or SWITCH.

The settings saved on this computer for the network do not match,
You need to remove the wireless network from your preferred networks list and reconnect to it.
1. Right click on the wireless icon (picture of a computer) on your system tray.
2. Click on Network and Sharing Center.
3. On the upper left hand side of the page , click on Manage Wireless Networks
4. Right click on you network name and click Remove/delete
5. Now reconnect to your network.

Ahh, now I understand. Somewhere in the instructions, you need to turn your Belkin into a Wireless Access Point. The Netgear is your MODEM and router. It's the interface to your DSL line. Since it already has a router, the only thing you gain from the Belkin is wireless access.
There shoud be instructions to either turn off the router in the Netgear, or convert the Belkin to a WAP. I'd do the Belkin.

The wireless light on my belkin router is not lit
1. In the address bar of your Internet browser, type "192.168.2.1". Then press the "Enter" key.
2. It will prompt for a password to access the Router’s Web-Based Advanced User Interface. By default the password is blank.
3. Click the Wireless tab.
- SSID: This is the wireless network name of your router. You can change it so that you may easily identify your own wireless network.
- Wireless channel: no need to change it, just take note of which wireless channel your router has.
- Wireless mode: Make sure it is not off. Select the wireless mode that your wireless computer has.
- Broadcast SSID should be checked so that the wireless computer will detect the signal from the router.
Take note: If you made changes on your router make sure you click Apply changes to save the changes.
4. Go to Security, then Wireless.
- Check the wireless security settings, this should match the settings on your wireless computer.
5. On the wireless computer, you should detect SSID and if wireless security is enabled, connect to it with the correct security keys.
Hope this helps! Good luck!

The passphrase is a method of setting up the encryption setting in the wireless router. Go into the router configuration and then into the wireless settings. I suggest you use WPA encryption as WEP is older and weaker encrypyion method.
To set-up and secure the wireless router from unauthorized access, follow these steps: -
1. Connect the wireless router to your computer with a LAN cable.
2. Start your browser and enter the router's configuration URL IP address.
3. Enter the router setup, login and password
4. Change the admin password
5. Go to the wireless settings and change the default SSID and turn off SSID broadcast.
6. Setup encryption key the strongest is WPA2 (if not then WPA).
7. For further security measures - turn on MAC address filtering and enter the MAC address of the wireless cards on the computer/s you want to connect to this wireless router.
8. Record the settings you have made and keep it in a safe place and Save the settings.
9. Configure the wireless cards on the computer/s with the SSID and encryption settings of the router.
10. Remove the LAN cable between the router and the computer then the computers should be able to connect to the router wirelessly.
