My Sony XAV-60 is now stuck with the Enter security code, but when I push a number it lights up but won't enter the number in the box. I tried using the remote but it won't enter the number either.

Try holding down the tv power button and keep holding it while you press the channel button until your tv comes in.. It takes a few pushes. Make sure your tv is off first though.

I have the same problem with the Sony SBD-s360 blue ray and the Verizon Fios remote. Not codes work and I tried over 1000 search codes with no luck. Verizon needs to replace the remote with a later model

I'm sorry to tell you but your sound bar isn't supported by your Directv remote - at least not officially. Your only remaining option is to perform a code scan (as explained in the manual), maybe another set of codes will match for the basic commands: on/ff and volume up/down.
