Hi nick, there can be many causes for this fault.
1. your speakers or speaker cables are faulty, then this problem will come up.
2. your installation is done incorrectly, or with the wrong gauge of power cables can cause this problem.
3. your vehicle battery could be weak.
4. you could have an internal problem with the amp only, which needs repairs.

Hi, check all the switches on the face panel, if the switches donot have a "click" feel when pressed then they are faulty. The face panel then needs internal repairs. Also check the gold connections behind the face. Check to see if all the contact pins are clean and shiny, and the same goes for the contact pins on the head unit side as well. cheers.

The directions to remove the Sony CDX-S2000 are in the operating manual, starting on page 15. You need the release keys that came in the original packaging before installation. The installation manual also shows these steps. First remove the front panel by pressing in on the bottom left corner. Then pull the panel towards yourself. This is shown on page 7. Next engage the release keys on sides of the protection collar. (Use the wide end of the keys oriented as shown in the picture). Pull out the keys to remove the protection collar. Reverse the release key and face the hook on each key towards the AM/FM/CD-player. Insert the keys together until you hear a click. Pull the keys out to unseat the unit. Now you can pull the unit out of the bracket.

Sony has the installation manual and the operating manual on the product site: . The current link to the operating manual is . The link to the installation guide is .

I hope this helps. If you need the keys, I found apparent replacement keys for sale at Amazon here: .

Hi, Error messages can be found at E:62:10 has nothing to do with the LCD but is a generic error of the stabilizer. This is a very well known problem that happens a lot and still today with Sony camera's. After less than 3 years of use the stabilizer breaks down, making it impossible to take sharp pictures, and displaying the dreaded E:62:10 error message. Thousands of users on the Internet have the same problem, read the website or search E:62:10 on the Internet or on YouTube. A temporary solution could be available at

Yes, speakers are rated by power handling capacity, Having an amp with less than the power handling o speaker will not hurt anything.

Information taken from owner manual.
Before operating the unit for the first time, or
after replacing the car battery or changing the
connections, you must reset the unit.
Detach the front panel (page 5) and press the
RESET button (page 6) with a pointed object,
such as a ball-point pen.
Pressing the RESET button will erase the clock setting
and some stored contents.

if you have the model number handy i can tell you

but most sonys are marked like this ..

+12v goes directly to the + termanl on the battry
GND goes to a solid metal object on the car (ground)
REM remote turnon goes to the remote turn on from your headunit

unbridged speaker outputs
+L positve left speaker
-L negative left speaker
+R positive right speaker
-R negative right speaker

ok to bridge a amp (must be capabul of doing so) look for a mono switch and set to mono ..

then take the +L channel put it to your subs + and take the -R channel and put it to the - of your sub

also set the cross over switch to LPF if your running bridged for a sub

if that is a bit hard to understand msg back with the model number of the amp and i can get u the orignal manual for the wireing diagram

hope that helps
