SOURCE: WHAT ARE THE THERMAL FUSE
If you are talking about the part indicated as Nr.6 in this diagram.
That is a bimetal thermal fuse, part number 661663.
Here the spare part.
Standing to your description the switch and more parts in the control panel may be damaged, here all parts.
To find the seal, see: TUB AND FRAME PARTS.
Let me know if this answers your question, in case do not forget to accept.
SOURCE: Sony kf-ws60s1 front red light flashes 6 times after lamp replacement. Need thermal fuse part number
hello!
your issue has nothing to do with "thermal switch". while you have replaced the lamp, you could lose a piece of plastic hardware, in front of the lamp housing. It pushes auxiliary interlock switch, right under the front of the lamp compartment. If you take lamp out, use flashlight and shine inside. There is a little switch at the bottom. Try to make the lamp housing push it, without breaking anything. you could get "generic" lamp with housing, which is not correct. Anyway, that's the deal. Also: don't forget to install lamp door and turn the handle clockwise! there is another switch. I've seen people who forget to put that door back! Really!
good luck,
Alex.

Hi Francois Lauzno, I want to help you with your question, but I need more information from you. Can you please add details in the comment box? Can only guess what you want to know, and you only typed part of a question, that you need to replace an unknown part number for an unknown make and model dryer.
