Sanyo DP32649 developed a movie picture in pink. Using the manual to adjust the color did not fix the problem. We tried disconnecting wires and power and reconnecting. No change. Suggestions??

If this problem is happening on a regular TV channel and does not appear when watching an HD channel or while watching a DVD then most likely you have no problem at all. What you are seeing is actually the LOW Definition signal sent for regular TV programming that used to look pretty good on a small tube style screen but now is enlarged on a screen capable of incredible accuracy and is displaying all of the poor quality attributes of standard definition TV.

This sounds like it might be a defective CCD imager. If so, Canon should fix this for you for free, including free shipping both ways. This is regardless of your camera's warranty status. Please check this link for more info.
