Reset the dishwasher by pressing and holding the "Start" button for at least three seconds. Depending upon the Bosch dishwasher model you have, you also can push the "Cancel-Reset" button to reset the dishwasher. Select a new cycle and press "Start."

SOURCE: My Bosch Model SHU9915UC is not filling up with

When any electronic mechanical device is left for any period of time, and has NOT been periodically Powered Up. It WILL need a complete overhaul, apart from electronic components going out of spec, especially capacitors, also the Valves and things get jammed up. and seize. 2 years is too long of a time to expect it to just "work" again. It will need to be attended to by a professional.I know this is most likely NOT what you want to hear, but it is true and will have to be done.

SOURCE: the time left just keeps

Hi from retired Englishman in SW France,
Try this first-

I would gently suggest as a first step that you clean the drain motor/pump lint tray/filter. So many 'faults' are caused by blocked filters and many machines will not even go to rinse or spin or release the door lock if there is any water still left inside.
Following are my complete and hopefully 'coverall' pre-typed guidance notes for checking both the drain motor filter and the drain motor ;-0)

REMOVE POWER AND ENSURE YOU HAVE A WATER RECEPTACLE/RAGS TO SOAK UP THE WATER WHICH IS BOUND TO POUR OUT (alternatively use a wet vac as sensibly suggested by VinnyB1234!)
If you are unsure where the filter is, it is often behind the front lower (kick) panel (or in some machines at the rear in an awkward position!). These panels are either held on by (plasic) screws or will just pull off. Most filters are held in by a round cover/knob. Sometimes the filter will not come out with the cover and you will have to persuade it to come out to play.
It's surprising what people have found in theirs! It is always worthwhile checking it on a regular basis.
Now- whilst the filter is removed it is normally possible to see the drain motor and ensure it is not jammed by a foreign object such as a needle or a toothpick. It should be able to be turned by hand/finger- the power IS OFF!
At this point it is also possible to test if the motor works. No clothes or water in the machine, select a spin cycle and put the power back on. You should be able to see the motor turning at some point, possibly straight away. Using something suitable like a glove see if it is easy to briefly slow the motor down. If it is easy then the motor is malfunctioning.

If this has assisted you please consider a 4 thumbs up for the rating.
Thanks and good luck!

How do you disable the cycle completion signal/beep on the Bosch SHU9915UC dishwasher?

Hello,

Welcome to FixYa.

I think can answer your question..."How do you disable the cycle completion signal/beep on the Bosch SHU9915UC dishwasher?"

Follow these steps...

**How to Operate the Cycle Completion Signal**

1. Open door, hold down program button (see
Beeper Table below) and simultaneously turn the unit "ON".

MODEL Program BUTTON

SHU 9950 Delay Start Hours
**SHU 9910-9920 Delicate/Econo** should be yours
SHU 8800/8810 Quick Wash

SHV 6800 Delay Start Hours
SHV 4800 Delicate/Econo
SHV 4300 Delicate/Econo

2. Release program button.
a. For SHV 6803 and SHU9950 models:
The display will blink with a code of "0", "1" or
"2". You are in program mode.

• If the display blinks with a "0", you will hear
no signal (indicates OFF).

• If the display blinks with a "1", you will hear a
LOW volume signal.

• If the display blinks with a "2", you will hear a
HIGHER volume signal.

b. For all other models with the beeper
function:

• If the machine beeps, then the Cycle
Completion Signal has been enabled.

• When you push the button again and it does
not beep, it means that the Cycle Completion
Signal has been disabled.

3. To change the program, press the program
button until the desired setting is selected.

4. Turn the Dishwasher off to take it out of
program mode.

* At the end of a wash cycle, the beeper will sound
off two times, and again every 15 minutes until the
dishwasher is turned off.

Hope this answers your question and provides you with what you needed.

Thank you for choosing FixYa and good luck.

Please take a moment to rate the solution provided and a short testimony if you feel it's warranted, but also let me know if you require further assistance.

Regards,

Macmarkus :)

My Bosch doesn't clean and leaves a lot of particulate matter on the dishes-- that seems to be coming from somewhere other than the dishwasher????

You need to clean it with either white vinegar, or either of the two products that have citric acid in them. (Dishwasher Magic or Lemi Shine). I like the Lemi Shine the best.

Dish water won't start

hi,

you shouldn't have to pull the washer out, the fuse that may be the problem should be located in the door with the control board. there should be some screws around the door to remove it. however, the fuse may need to be special ordered. also make sure the power is off to the unit before you work on it.
