Take the toner bottle out. Then you will need to remove several cover to gain access to the sensor way in the back of the where the toner bottle goes and clean that sensor. might even need replacing.

that unit is manufactured my konica minolta. it is a Konica Minolta Bizhub 501 and will use the same fuser even though the image units, toners, and transfer belt have to be chipped for the ineo. There is a picofuse in the fusing harness that blows as soon as it is installed and that starts the fuser life counter. the counter is reset when a new fuser (or new fuse, if the fuser is still good) is installed. You will need to replace the fuser for the message to go away.

Recommend a tech do as this is straight out of the service manual. "DipSW3-1 of service mode to 0. If DipSW3-1 is set to 0 before defective parts are fixed, it may cause fire."

The 501 code is not for bizhub 350 is for dialta 250/350/2510 and refer to fusing unit error.

actually code c28xx have 7 variant. for example, c2801, c2802, c2803 (error 3,4,5,6) and c2804. if follow the code code c28xx is TCR output abnormality.
ok, first you clean T/S block, do servicing and cleaning all parts.
second, if still same, do toner auto supply.
third, trouble reset. off your machine first, press and hold utility/counter and on machine, until trouble reset appear. press it and off/on again. ^^,

what error code?

Maybe the power it's not correct.Try to reset hold utility key and power on hold the utility and on screen will be show the ikon trouble reset push it and will show ok power of and on again

if the code does come back DO NOT RESET the machine again! It is indicating a problem the code you are resetting is the fuser and it can catch on fire! That will ruin a perfectly good day!!!
ENSURE YOU WAIT 10 SECONDS

1.Turn OFF the main power switch. (Located inside machine) Leave control power switch in the on position.)
2.Turn main power switch ON while pressing the Utility/Counter key.
3.Touch [Trouble Reset].
4.Check to make sure that [OK] is displayed and the it has been reset.
5.After turning off the main power switch, turn it on again more than 10 seconds after and check if the machine starts correctly.
