Hi,
The speaker could be faulty. It sits on the side of the printer. Replacing the speaker should solve problem.

Hello, if you go to the reports menu from the control pnel, then to the fax reports sub menu.

From there you cn setup all of the confirmations required.

Not receiving any Fax, only can send out Fax.

Hi Mechanic.

The problem could be with your phone service if you are on digital lines, you would have to install a digital to analog filter. If you are analog the comm errors are typical of a line with a lot of static. You can change two settings on the printer which should solve the issue until you install a filter.

The two settings which are under the fax set up menu/ all faxes\
Error correction mode (ECM) set it to off
Fax Speed set it to medium.

Hi,

Yes you can send fax from computer.You need one dialup connection with Fax modem. then you need fax software. there are many software availble on the net . One is Mighty Fax. you can download it from the internet and many other you can search in google.

Stop the ringing.

in the FAX setup screen you should be able to control the amount of rings before it pick up the phone try that let me know if it works
