Incline is not working properly, it goes all the way up and down a little and it stops, motor seems to be working properly but cannot calibrate on incline 0% or work properly
Treadmill seems to be working fine but incline would not calibrate correctly, I already tried basic troubleshooting on manual and screen shows calibrating but go all the way up and down a bit like if sensor is not telling machine to go all the way down to 0%...is there any reset button to factory settings or something???...this problem appears when I stopped on the middle of a workout session when treadmill incline was around the middle...next time it starts from the and never calibrate properly...its been like 2 weeks now...please help

Make sure you recalibrate your treadmill after installing ANY controller, motor or console. You can NOT over calibrate your treadmill.You want to make sure you adjust your pedometer for the correct operating speed and incline adjustment. First plug in your treadmill, do not stand on the walking belt.Hold down the "Stop" and "Speed +" key and insert the safety key or magnet, let go of the two keys. Now press "Stop" key once. This puts you into the level 2 of calibration.Press the "Speed +" key slowly until you see 85 on the console, (at this point the display is going to show the percentage of motor usage and also the actual walking belt speed) at 85% motor usage your top speed should be between 10 and 10.5 MPH or (of 12 and 12.5) depending on the treadmill. You must know your treadmills top speed. (Important the motor may be damaged if you set the maximum speed higher than the maximum speed that your treadmill is made for).If the speed is higher than 10.5 or 12.5 then you need to turn the potentiometer down to the correct level. The adjustment is made with a phillips screwdriver, and the adjustment point is on the motor controller. It is a little square metal box with a yellow plastic adjustment screw inside. If the speed it to low you need to turn the potentiometer higher. Once the speed is correct you are done calibrating the speed.Press the (-) speed key to lower the percentage to (0). Next press the incline (+) button, this will make the incline motor go all the way to the maximum incline and come all the way down to the level position. Then remove the safety key and the treadmill will reset into the normal manual mode. Double check that the treadmill is operating at the correct speed and incline motor works correctly, by running maximum settings. Once you are done, be sure your treadmill is properly protected from surges from power spikes that can destroy the work you just performed.

Method 1: Press Stop and Speed Up, Insert the Key
To calibrate the incline, press and hold the stop and speed increase buttons. While holding the buttons, insert the safety key. The machine will now be in calibration mode. Press the Stop button once. Then, press one of the incline buttons to begin the calibration. It is recommended that you do not stand on the machine while the calibration is taking place.
The machine will move to its highest incline position, then to its lowest decline position. Please wait for the machine to come to a complete stop. When the machine stops moving, the calibration is complete. Remove the safety key from the console to exit calibration mode.
Method 2: Press the Stop Button, Insert the Key
To calibrate the incline, press and hold the stop button. While holding the button, insert the safety key into the console. The machine will now be in calibration mode. Press the stop button once. Then, press either the incline up or incline down button to begin the calibration. It is recommended that you do not stand on the machine while the calibration is taking place.

You need a new incline motor, The incline sensor is bad. One way to test is to pull the black and red off the MCB and applied 120 volts on the black (up) or Red (down) wire and see the incline motor move. If it does then the MCB is bad
try thisSometimes incline motors will get frozen in position and need broke free. Try this: take the motor cover off and take the screw out of the bottom of the incline motor that is attached to the screw assembly. Once you remove the screw you should be able to break the incline motor free. run the incline up and down with the screw still off( laying the treadmill on its side may make this easier). Once it goes up and down (hold the screw so it goes in and out) reattach it then run the calibration described below. If it was just stuck it should work fine.

If these instructions do not work to fix the incline motor check your main harness running down the right leg for breaks in the wires or a loose connection if nothings found you can switch the red and black wires on the incline motor terminal block and see if it goes down. If it does you know you are only getting voltage to one side of the motor. There is a schematic under the motor hood that tells you what the voltage should be when you press the up or down keys. Use a multi-meter to see if you are getting the correct voltage coming from the console to the motor control board and then from the board to the motor. If no voltage from console-replace console if you have voltage from console but not from board - replace board and finally if you have voltage from console and from board replace motor. You will need to test the voltage both when pressing the up key and the down key.

If the incline moves but you it will not operate normally nor calibrate, check the wiring from the incline sensor to the power board. If all looks normal, put it back in calibration and see if you see a blinking “- -” symbol in the incline window when you are calibrating. If not, the incline sensor is bad.
If the incline moves but only just a bit, it could be a problem as simple as the gearbox on the motor being jammed. We remove the motor from the treadmill, reconnect the wiring, and then try to run the incline motor outside the treadmill. Many times, this will unjam it if that is the problem and then reinstalling it in the treadmill will get it to work. If you have the same problem or it doesn’t run outside the machine and you can hear it try to work, you need to replace the incline motor.
If the incline motor does not move, we need to figure out if the motor is getting voltage. Use a simple multi-meter and set it to AC volts. When you put it into calibration, it tries to calibrate the directions one at a time. Measure across the white and black wires first, then measure across the white and red wires second. If the motor is getting voltage you will read 120VAC (or thereabouts) one one of the measurements. If you have voltage but the motor won't move, you need to replace the motor. 4. If the incline motor does not move and you have done the voltage test and you do not have any voltage present, there is a problem in the electronics board that supplies the power. If the console is powering the drive motor as normal, you can bet it is getting an incline signal and the power board needs to be replaced (some models have an integrated power board/controller) so if there is only a single board the whole board has to be replaced. It is possible the console is not giving the proper signal but we've never seen it happen in thousands of treadmills.
