There doesn't appear to be an iphone app for that product. Checking the compatibility page Parrot USA Compatibility it notes that the 5S is compatible with phonebook synchronization. The user guides are available here Support Parrot MINIKIT Plus USA. You should read it,I see it notes that:
Sending contacts via Bluetooth:
If your phone does not support automatic synchronization, you can also use the Object Push function of your phone to send contacts from your mobile to the Parrot MINIKIT+ via Bluetooth. To do so :
1. Press the jogwheel and select Receive contacts.
2. Refer to your phones' user guide for more information about sending contacts via Object Push.

Your Bluetooth may be incompatible. Blutooth has different standards that don't always match up. It's an evolving technology.
Supposed to get better with age???
Make sure bluetooth is turned on on your iPhone. (swipe up) or open settings. You have to pair the devices for the first connection.
If you can't pair then they are not compatible.

Apart form suggesting you sell that iPhone and buy an Android, a more useful suggestion would be to make sure you have GPS turned off. Also Wifi and Bluetooth when not needed.
Also make sure you have nothing running in the background using a lot of power - i.e. a game. (Not sure iPhones can do background running can they) ?

Turn off the headset.
Press and hold the headset button for about eight seconds, until you hear the startup tone and then five quick high beeps.
The headset is now discoverable and will remain so for about five minutes. The status light blinks while the headset is discoverable.
Step 2: Turn on Bluetooth on the other device and search for devices
On the device, turn Bluetooth on and set the device to search for other Bluetooth devices.
On the device, choose iPhone Bluetooth Headset and enter the PIN code 0000.

If you had a bluetooth device connected and it did not disconnect
properly then the phone may be trying to play the sounds to the
bluetooth and not the speaker, Turn the phone's bluetooth off and then
on and it should work. Also, if you look at a sound file or video file
it will show the bluetooth symbol next to it, which means that it is
playing to bluetooth and not the phones other outputs.
