Question about Panasonic KX TG6413 Trio Cordless Phone

1 Answer

The callers name does not show. I only get the words 'Incoming call'. How can I correct this fault? It was fine until we had a power cut early last week.

Caller's name no longer appears. Instead the only thing appearing are the words 'Incoming call'. We had a prolonged power cut a week ago and after that the phone no longer showed the caller's identity. I've tried removing the power plug from the socket and then putting it back but that doesn't work.

Panasonic dect 6.0 plus name and number of incoming calls aren't showing on phones. How can this be fixed?

Do name/number display on any other phones on that line?

If that is your only phone, try borrowing another with working call display from a friend or neighbor. If another phone doesn't display caller info, call your phone company - most charge extra to provide caller number ( and in some cases, another extra to add the name). Even if the features are included in your rate, it's possible they weren't turned on correctly.

Your Panasonic may also have a setting to show name or number - depending on the display size, you may have to pick one or the other.

Finally, some phones do not support exactly the same caller ID info that the phone company sends - I have seen some which displayed number instead of names and no name, just because the two pieces of equipment did not agree on the standard. Try your Panasonic on someone else's line with working Caller ID.

My phone was showing caller ID but last evening it only showed incoming call. How do I get my caller ID to work? IT is working on my cord phone?

Hi
I would advise you to go through the instructions in the manual again very carefully to make sure you set it correctly, and then test it using a known number.
Caller ID is not infallible and will not display a number if the caller uses "number withheld" or in many cases if it is an overseas call.
Hope this is helpful, if so would you please register that with Fixya
Cheers

Uniden cordless phone caller id quit working

Using the Caller ID and Redial Lists
Caller ID (CID) is a service available from your telephone provider that shows the phone number (and sometimes the caller's name) of incoming calls. Contact your telephone provider for more information.
Caller ID list

Redial list

When a call comes in, the phone displays the number and name (if available) of the caller.
The phone saves the information for the last 30 received calls to the

CID list.
When it's in standby, the handset shows how many calls came in since the last time you checked the CID list.

Each handset remembers the last 5 numbers you dialed on it. The redial list is separate for each handset.

When someone calls me,it displays 'call' on Nokia E71,what to do? I don't have duplicates on my phone and when i type in *#30#,it says 'number of caller is not available'.Please help me

In some instances the caller might have caller-id blocked or a *67 manaul caller id block.

You are correct if you have a duplicate contact entry it does not show the name of the caller incoming.

Caller id Call Customer Service 1-8O5-465-751O To Fix Issue

First you need to verify if the caller id does that to all incoming calls, showing numbers only, or if it only does that to only numbers stored in directory. If it does that to all incoming calls then you need to check manual to see if there a setting to allow both name and number of all incoming calls. Either way you need to make sure caller id functions allows both name /number on display.
