SOURCE: having problems with fan assisted oven on leisure

Often these fan assisted type ovens have a safety that keeps th fan off if it believes the door is open. Look for uneven door closing or cracks in the door to frame closure. Is this a commercial convection oven?

I could copy my handbook of the Users Guide for a Rangemaster 110 Gas appliance if you wish and send it on to you, if that would help.

Leisure Gourmet Classic double oven. Why does my bottom fire not go high ?

This question also edited for clarity. 'make model (what it is)' first. Proper names with capital letters too. :>D

It needs a new thermostat. this has to be done by a registered gas technician, so call for service.

Rangemaster 55 leisure. My timer has stopped working

Hi Stella,

i am sorry for you, but you can forget repairing the timer.
You can replace it of course.
You do not need the timer to operate the oven.
For that you need to bypass the timer. The clock will stay working normally.
Although the 55 is smaller then the 110, the working of the clock should be the same.
Net link will give you more information and I hope you will fin the solution there.
Kind regards and a good weekend, Dik

My gourmet classic leisure cooker has a noisy fan. What can I do?

Hello CAROL ROSA,

If it is NEW... TAKE IT BACK.

ELSE... (replace the fan).

Post the actual model number to see if
we need to look for 'parts' (USA) or "spares" (rest of the world)...

Together we can get this
'FIXED' (USA) or "sorted" (rest of the world)...

Just bought a Leisure Gourmet Classic gas cooker. Connected the gas and plugged it in but none of the burners will light. The ignition is working but no gas is getting through. Any ideas folks? TIA, Andy

I had a similar problem when my new Leisure cooker was installed last December. The burners would light when I held the knobs in but when I let go the flame would go out. The engineer took off each of the burner knobs and stuck a small wad of aluminium foil between the inside of the knob and the contact on the front of the cooker - he said it's a design fault and the gap is just a bit too large for contact to be made reliably. This fixed the problem and I've had no trouble since.
