I've got a Samsung LH40HDBPLGA/ZA LED TV and the backlights are not working. The picture is there with sound but no backlights. This has the LED driver built into the power supply and when checking voltages to the LED ribbon cable I'm getting 200+ DC Volts on the D+ connections all the time and 200+ DC volts on the S+ connections with the ribbon plugged in. If I unplug the ribbon to the LED from the board I only get the D+ 200V's and nothing on the S+. I haven't taken the panel down to the LED strips to check them yet as I wanted to rule out the power supply /LED driver board first. Does anyone know if these voltages sound right or if this is resembling a bad panel or LED's? Looking for any assistance on this one. Thanks.
Replace capacitor on powerb0ard look f0r cap that are 10v 1000uf replace it t0 16v 0r 25v 1000uf that solve this backlight pr0blem

Did you ever find the answer? I have the same results and also no backlight
I measured for voltages on the connector going to the LED back lights. On #1 pin D+ and #2 pin D+ I was reading 217 Volts each. On S2+(4th pin) and S3+ (7th pin) I read zero volts. Should have read some kind of voltage on those last two pins. First two pins was reading to high. I ordered LED power Supply board (BN44-00666A) for $26.95 on ebay.
Remove 2 capacitor that have inscription 10 v 1000uf to 25v that solve this problem. Samsung use cap of 10v upgrade it t0 16v or 25v
