Cooktop/countertop light replacement

Question edited for clarity.

It depends where you live? In the UK, the fuse is in the wall plug. In the US and other countries it _may_ be at the rear where the mains lead goes in. Sometimes they pull out, sometimes there is a small screw cap.

Go for a warranty repair anyway. It may be the magnetron, and the clicking is the big condenser discharging.

try using a small potato,push it into the base while turning the potato.it may lock onto the base and unscrew it....UNPLUG IT FIRST...

you have a bad door switch, probably the bottom one

maybe the fuse/bulb is busted.

If the oven is heting and turntable not turning, then the problem is either the turntable coupler or the turntable motor.

The faulty part must be checked and replaced.

Microwave turntables are belt driven from a small motor.

Usually it is the belt that needs replacement.

Unplug, and remove the outer case to inspect the belt. If it is still tight and attatched, the chances are it needs a new motor - often it's cheaper to buy a new unit.

If your owner's manual doesn't cover lamp replacement, you will have to take the oven apart to do it.
