Assuming your car video player is the pioneer avic 5000nex, seeing as you were posting about it some time ago...

Go into settings > and there should be 3 invisible boxes on the settings header that you press in order and the password screen shows up.

IF you are locked out of your system... Call customer service, and they'll want you to send the product back for a fee to replace.

This will erase everything on your phone you may want to do a backup first.

here are the steps to do a factory reset
1 go to settings
2 Tap "Backup and Reset" option.
3 Tap "Factory Data Reset".
4 Scroll down and tap the "Reset Device" option.
5 Confirm it by tap the "Erase Everything" option.
Now the phone will start to reset the whole thing and all you need to do is wait for it.

not sure if this is going to help you out but have a read but make sure it is what you want to do before you do it...Navigate to Settings, Backup and reset and then Reset settings. 2. If you have an option that says 'Reset settings' this is possibly where you canreset the phone without losing all your data.   1. Go to your phone Settings.
  2. Find the "Backup & Reset" option among the available menu and tap on it.
  3. You will find more option, and you need to find "Factory Data Reset" and then tap on it
  4. At the bottom, you will see the option of "Reset Device", tap on this option as well.
  5. One more thing, tap on the "Erase Everything" option and now the factory reset will begin.

There should be an option to reset your phone in 'settings'.
Back Up and Reset should give you the option to reset with no problems. As you enter this option, the last option here is 'Factory Data Reset'. Try this and let me know what transpired after....

there is a filter counter option in the settings menu that will give you the option to reset the counter. once in this menu navigate to the "Used Time" option and there wil be a reset button there.

1234 is the universal unlock code, then reset code to what u prefer, HONESTLY DOES WORK.
