How do i put pics, memos and saved e-mails from my samsung tablet 2 my new samsung galaxy e tab?

The 2 best methods are have a Google account and have it backed up.. secondly you have Samsung devices, which means you should create a new Samsung account and backup. This is for the tablet 2.

For the Samsung galaxy E , restore from both of the accounts mentioned above and you should be good.

I TURNED ON MY TABLET THIS EVENING AND IT APPEARS ALL MY APPS AND PICS HAVE DISAPPEARED.YET ALL LOGOS ARE STILL ON HOME PAGE, WHEN I CLICK ON LOGO, APPS NOT INSTALLED COMES UP.

Hello Christine,

This must be very frustrating and stressful for you. This sounds suspiciously like a malware infection. If the apps were uninstalled somehow, the logos (app shortcuts) would not appear on your home-screen. Malware is becoming more and more prevalent on mobile devices. I believe this is why you are experiencing this.

Depending on if you are using Apple or Android, please login to your iCloud account, or Google account, and see if any of your pics or data was synced to the cloud.

You can also download and run some anti-malware software for your tablet. Sometimes the malware simply hides your files, and removing this infection may bring your files back.

Good luck!

Help to reboot my tablet

Hi, you need to perform a factory reset, follow these instructions:

  1. Turn tablet off. You may need to use two hands in this process to press and hold buttons properly.
  2. Turn on the tablet with power button, wait a full 2 seconds from the time the tablet starts showing the red Motorola logo, then press and hold the down Volume key. (you should not hold down the power button after it turns on and logo appears)
  3. "Android Recovery" will appear on top of screen if timing is done correctly. Release volume button. (if you continue to press volume down at that message, the message will cycle through "RSD, Fastboot, and back to Android Recovery. Make sure message states Android Recovery before you go to next step). If stuck at a RSD protocol or Fast boot screen, reboot the tablet by holding power button then pressing the volume up).
  4. While screen states "Android Recovery", Press volume up button, the screen will say "Entering Android recovery mode" and a few seconds later an Android robot graphic will appear alone on the screen. Release buttons.
  5. Hold down power button and then press the volume up key together to see the Android Recovery screen menu selections.
  6. Use the volume buttons to move up and down through selection in this menu.
  7. Using the volume down button, scroll down to "Wipe data/factory reset"
  8. Tap Power hard key to select option.
  9. Scroll down to select "Yes, delete all user data".
  10. Tap the power button to select. Wiping and formatting data will take a few minutes.
  11. You will return back to the Android recovery screen menu.
  12. Tap the Power button to "Reboot system now" which will power-cycle tablet and eventually power back on to the Initial Set-up / Welcome screen present when you first turned on your tablet.

How to unlock my tablet if I forgot my password

For Android tablets you can do this wit factory reset from the Android System Recovery Menu. This will erase all your data.
To go into the Recovery menu, press and hold the Power On button and some other key (Volume Up, Volume Down, Home ). The combination is different for the different models.
When you are in the Android system recovery menu, use The Volume Up/Down keys for navigation and the Power button for confirmation.
Choose "wipe data / factory reset"

I tried reseting it cos it was telling me my firmware was corruped. after reset, i powered on and i came on! but the only screen that apper is the welcon screen and nothing more. so i treid hardreseting by...

So sorry to hear/read about this challenge you are having.
You've provided a few details to help you out; so also is it that you've probably left a few otter details out too.
First, the android logo which appears... is it lying on its back with its tummy open and a 'no command' writing also displayed?

Or is it simply the android logo ONLY.

In any case, once you do the hard reset and the android logo re-appears, try and pushing either the volume up or volume down button.

Next, check and see if it now displays the various command options on the screen.

Otherwise, when the android logo reappears, you can try press one of the following 'home button' or 'back button' or 'opened tabs button' and see if the reset menu/command options become displayed.
