No audio transmit or recive

Your radio needs an alignment to bring it back to specs . Check all the frequencies according to the manual and have a tech tune it for you .

It sounds like a synthesiser fault... might require a chip replacement.

the transmitter section of the radio needs to be aligned you need to look for a cb shop its nothing you can fix on your own

hello from my experience of this problem you will have to replace the audio and pa trancisters

is the lights changing from green to red? there is a switching diode near the audio preamp ic. is 70% of most failures.

Most of these kinds of radios will have two audio chips , on for transmit and one for recieve.sounds like you popped the recieve audio chip.

Get a 4 watt linear booster...that will increase ur range...if youy go over 4 watts the FCC can get u!!!!

Bad switch. It's that simple. The factory switches are crimp together junk. You may be able to use a pair of needle nosed pliers to softly squeeze the case of the switch together to correct the poor contact in side of the switch, but, if it gets a lot of use you may need to replace it altogether. Or try adjusting
