No acces to bios and post - Samsung Rv511

If your bios won't work, there is no way to acces your computer. Probably you need a new bios chip ot you shold load a new firmware. I believe you need professonal repair service.

If you know how to crack the case and disconnect the CMOS battery for a minute, the bios password will reset. Otherwise contact the manufacturer.

how did you do this if the keyboard was not working ?
During the boot process you will see on the screen to press a certain key to enter setup usually the Delete or the F2 key

Press and hold that key during the boot up process to enter BIOS the using arrow key scroll down to advanced bios features press enter change your first boot device to cd,press escape then press f10 to save to cmos to restart

To acces the BIOS, restart the Computer, press and hold the F2 Key for 7 to 10 seconds when the Sony VAIO Logo appears.Press the "Esc" button to exit. If you make any changes, you may need to press the F10 Key to save the Changes. You can press the F9 Key to restore the default values and F10 to save the changes.

It sounds like the Acer logo has been turned off in the bios settings. As soon as you hit the power button, start tapping the F2 key until you see the test appear "entering setup". Once you are in the BIOS, look for the Logo settings as far as being visible during Boot up. I've seen this setting on other systems so I am thinking the Acer should be similiar.

to reset the bios password go to acer service center and tell them that u have forgotten ur password and ask them to reset it.

Usually you can acces BIOS by pressing
"DEL" Key duing system startup.

But it also depend on the BIOS manufacturer and version on how to access BIOS

try them ,it will surely let you access BIOS.

during the bootup post routines you should see a message that tells you what to do to go into the bios.

Sometimes the post routine is run without being shown on the screen. If so, try pushing the F2 button, or DEL key during the bootup sequence.

Could be the CPU itself..

you should be able to press F2 or Del on boot up to get into the bios, but you should replace the battery first then set everything up as the cmos has obviously lost it's saved settings because the battery is flat.
