1) clean the contacts batteries, with cleaner contacts 2) tight the spring contacts with pliers for better contacts 3) resolder the wires connector from contacts batteries 4) open the remote c, and clean the keypads with contacts cleaner God bless you
the carbon of remote which help to connect the points of remote is not working so purchase the liquid carbon and put on the inner points on remorte buttons then i feel it strt working.
You must 'reset' the remote. I've had it happen quite a few times. 1. Turn off power to fan. Then back on. 2. Using remote cycle the following fan buttons from high to med to low, then from low to med to high again. That 'should' fix the problem.
most of my fan controls have done this to me. you know the reciever is working cuz the fan works fine. you need to dis assemble the remote completely and clean the contacts for the light button. mine are two small black dots that seem to keep getting slimey and wont work till i clean them, then all works like brand new again.
