Hello. The lights you describe are an error code that means over-level filling (overflow condition) and/or the leakage sensor underneath has detected water. You need to check underneath the unit for any moisture. There is a leakage sensor located at the center of the base, underneath the unit. If it detects water, it will notify the main board which will stop the unit until the condition is cleared.

SOURCE: Kenmore Elite Dishwasher clean light ind flashing and won't start

That means the control sensed that the heater in the d/w did not operate 3 times in a row. so the unit locks out. First remove the kick plate and you may have to pull the unit out from under the cab, but check your heater. use a meter to see if it reads open, if so order a heater assy it will come with a new control replace it to. If your heater checks good press in sequence normal wash , heat dry ,normal wash, heat dry , normal wash , heat dry three times within 6 sec all the lights will come on then hit cancel. What that did is reset the control and clear that fault. Keep in mind that d/w does not heat it's own water your incoming water temp should be 120. the d/w will maintain that temp. when starting your d/w first turn on your hot water till it gets hot then start your d/w this insures your unit fills with hot water and not cold

SOURCE: clean light flashes

You will have to reset the console. To do this, close the door and press these buttons in sequence...

-high temp wash
-heated dry
-high temp wash
-heated dry

...all the lights will turn on briefly and the machine will start a diagnostic cycle. You can press cancel or let the diagnostic cyle finish (1-2 minutes).
You should now be able to run the dishwasher as normal.

SOURCE: Maytag dishwasher, no power, then flashing lights, now no power.

Had the same problem, removed the kick panel to find a set of instructions under the insulation, had to push a sequence of the panel buttons, its been running great for a couple of weeks now!

Do I have a filter that needs to be cleaned and where is it on my Samsung DW7933 series?

DW7933 is a dishwasher? (This question was found in the washing machine enquiries.)
If you are asking about your dishwasher, there is no filter to remove. However, it is important to follow the user instructions regarding regular cleaning and use of rinsing aids, to retain your dishwasher's performance.
If you've lost your user instructions, they are available from the manufacturer's web site or other free-to-use services.

I have a Samsung dishwasher model #DW7933LRABB that starts to run normal then I get 3 flashing lights Normal, Heavy and Smart then does not complete the cycle

The Normal, Heavy and Smart lights will blink when there is low water level in the dishwasher. Check that the sump area isn't blocked from filling with water. Often there is a float inside the tub that can be held down by a utensil that fell under the lower basket. Remove any foreign objects. Then try to run the dishwasher when it is completely empty. The parts diagram for the dishwasher is available here: https://www.searspartsdirect.com/model/60yajq87a8-001482/samsung-dw7933lrabb-aa-01-dishwasher-parts . If there isn't an obvious blockage in the water level monitors, you could have a wiring problem or an issue with the control board that doesn't get the signal for water reaching the desired level. (Note: if the incoming water pressure were too low, only the Smart light would flash.)

The manual for the DW7933LRABB is available from Sears Parts Direct on the product page: https://www.searspartsdirect.com/manual/60yajq87a8-001482/samsung-dw7933lrabb-aa-01-dishwasher . The current link to the manual is https://c.searspartsdirect.com/mmh/pd_download/lis_pdf/OWNM/1206228L.pdf .

I hope this helps.

Samsung dishwasher will only start to drain at the beginning of the normal cycle, no water, then the smart auto light starts to flash

A Samsung Dishwasher flashing the Smart Auto light indicates a Water Supply Error (Not Enough Water) has been detected by the internal electronic diagnostics.

Why My Samsung DW7933 Series Dishwasher starts a wash cycle then makes series of beeps and stops with Quick ligt flashing?

That indicates a drain error. You may have something hard caught into the impeller of the drain pump, or your might have a bad ECS sensor causing that (false) error code.

Why on the Samsung DTM400 series dishwasher are normal heavy and smart/auto lights all flashing?

That's a High-temp Heating Error. It's usually caused by a bad ECS sensor. You will need to call a professional repairman to replace it. (I recommend Sears).
