I had an older gmc s15. After installing a aftermarket stereo it did the same thing. Believe it or not it ended up being the headlight dimmer Switch had gone bad and was already pulling alot of juice. The new stereo just made it trip and blow the fuse alot faster.
Put a carb kit in it. If that does not work replace the gas cap they are supposed to breath and if they get clogged it will create a vacuum in the tank starving the engine for fuel.
make sure that the lights are off when you put the new fuse in.. if there is a load on the line the fuse will blew emmediatly... if they are off when you install it and it still blows when you turn them on than you have a short. time to pull out a test light
